Hello,
I have posted a video on Amazon S3 Account which was earlier playing fine on my another site, on WP Lightbox Ultimate is not playing on my new site.
I rechecked the AWS Access key id & AWS Secret Access key and both are perfect.
The file name and bucket names are perfect.
The error what i get is there is a partial black blank popup and nothing else.
I checked other topics on this forum which suggest me to check the console in firefox to find the errors, and i did accordingly and the following are the error which is shown:
Uncaught Type Error: Cannot set property ’embed’ of undefined (index):65
event.returnValue is deprecated: Please use the standard event.preventDefault() instead.
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not found)
Could you help me as to what the problem is.
Thanks & Regards
Madhan.

January 1, 2014 at 12:36 pm #59940madhanskumarMemberHi,
I was able to identify the error. One of the plugin which i installed Wishlist-Dashboard, created problem. It has a reference to earlier version of flowplayer and some old java script. The moment when i deactivated that plugin, WP Lightbox started working.
I also want to know if i can embedded video on image without pop up and the video is securely stored on Amazon S3. The option what is available in the plugin has option but the video is popping out, i dont want that, i want it to play on the site itself.
Thanks and Wishing you a Very Happy New Year.
Regards
Madhan.
January 1, 2014 at 10:52 pm #59941wpCommerceModeratorThanks. May the new year be a great year for you.
You can also directly embed a video instead of popup. Please check the instructions for Method 2 on our Amazon S3 documentation:
March 14, 2014 at 6:07 pm #59942george@lvvMemberHaving similar problem as show here:
“WP Lightbox Ultimate – Amazon S3 Videos not playing Posted January 1, 2014 – 10:52 PM”

I haven’t changed to a new site. These files were all playing fine two days ago on this same site. What was showing as a functioning video from S3 is now a blank black with nothing else.
This is a sample page…
[http://www.learningviavideo.com/z-fullversionaws_s3/]
…but this same effect happening for 11 other pages set up the same way – all of which were working too.
I removed the protection short code so what’s happening can be seen.
YouTube videos have no problem displaying on similar pages, but I don’t want to use YouTube for full version, paid-pages.

“Having similar problem as shown here”
Below is the text version code for the page mentioned:
=====================================================
<span style=”font-size: xx-large;”>
Video part 1 of 2</span>
[wp_lightbox_embed_protected_s3_video name=”trailer_nsf_2014.mp4″ bucket=”unpaidfull” width=”720″ height=”540″]
<span style=”font-size: xx-large;”>Video Part 2 of 2</span>
[wp_lightbox_embed_protected_s3_video name=”nsf_show_1.mp4″ bucket=”unpaidfull” width=”720″ height=”540″]

In case this help
The S3 file and bucket names were double checked as accurate.
After posting, I notice the “strong” text with brackets does not appear because it’s emphasizing both “Video part 1 of” text items.

Hope that answers the question.
Not certain what “… any plugin or theme that includes lightbox script?” means. WP Lightbox was installed and activated, but not recently.
Thanks, George
March 15, 2014 at 6:08 pm #59946george@lvvMemberOK, your last question led me to believe installing the Gallery was causing the problem and it was. I just deactivated and deleted it and all the videos that wouldn’t appear properly now do!!!!! Thanks. Problem solved. GW
March 19, 2014 at 2:51 pm #59947george@lvvMemberI removed the “Gallery” plugin which solved the problem described above. While reviewing my WP plugins, noticed WP-Cycle and Photo Gallery are either installed or installed and activated.
The description for WP-Cycle is below.
“This plugin creates an image slideshow from the images you upload using the jQuery Cycle plugin. You can upload/delete images via the administration panel, and display the images in your theme by using the wp_cycle(); template tag, which will generate all the necessary HTML for outputting the rotating images.
Version 0.1.13 | By Nathan Rice | Visit plugin site”
Also installed – but not activated – is “Photo Gallery” plugin. It’s described below.
“This plugin is a fully responsive gallery plugin with advanced functionality. It allows having different image galleries for your posts and pages. You can create unlimited number of galleries, combine them into albums, and provide descriptions and tags.
Version 1.1.3 | By [http://web-dorado.com/] | Visit plugin site”
Should I deactivate and delete both of these? Are either of them usable without conflicting with Ultimate Lightbox?
I’d like to use a image/photo gallery in my site, but maybe I’m overlooking a Gallery function already provided by Ultimate Lightbox. If so, is there information about that available? Thanks again.
March 20, 2014 at 3:29 am #59948wpCommerceModeratorHi, currently we have the following photo gallery options:
March 20, 2014 at 3:39 am #59949adminKeymasterTry to use a plugin that doesn’t have errors in it.
You can use our photo gallery plugin to see if that will give you the photo gallery functionality that you are after (it has a photo slider option too):
April 12, 2015 at 5:36 am #59950yumeconsultsMemberWP Ultimate Lightbox, Amazon S3 RTMP streaming video using lightbox and image (this is public not protected content).
1. This is NOT working. Here’s the code I’m using (except I replace video=, domain=, image source=, with my own info and content.
[wp_lightbox_ultimate_amazon_s3_cloudfront video="my-video.mp4"
domain="s72hg8.cloudfront.net" width="640" height="480" title="title goes here"
anchor_type="image" source="http://www.example.com/anchor-image.jpg"]2. I have followed these instructions to the letter. I cannot get this thing to work.
3. I checked a dozen times the short code, Amazon S3 and Cloudfront settings, and NOTHING is wrong. I even shortened the video name to 2 words with a hyphen inbetween thinking it was the naming convention. The bucket name is the same, two words separated by a hyphen AND still NADA.
4. I checked the forum threads and NO one has this same issue for public unprotected content. I just want the lightbox to play from Amazon S3. I checked the other plugins to see if anything can be causing an issue. I disabled modifying custom shortcodes from my theme, DIVI (elegant themes) too. I followed every instruction and still NOT WORKING (((
5. I have currently defaulted to using the lightbox popup with youtube which is NOT ideal as a temporary solution but because iOS/iPhones player does not do the rel=0 content on mobile phones, this is not the solution I want to land on. I want it to stream from Amazon S3 with the player embedded image and lightbox pop up. This is what I really want to work.
I have spent 2 days on this and I really need some help here. Thank you so much!
April 12, 2015 at 11:46 pm #59951wpCommerceModerator@yumeconsults, we will need to take a closer look at your site to troubleshoot this issue. I have sent en email for it. Let me know if you don’t receive it.
=Update=
Updating the plugin and Disabling “FV Flowpalyer” plugin fixed the issue.
April 15, 2015 at 5:19 pm #59952yumeconsultsMemberHI, I want to say thank you for your help in getting this resolved.
