Ok thanks I will look into that as I have the emember plugin already. I guess the problem remains that they can still forward on the end product excel file to people though and in that case I guess I have to go down the route of some form of excel file protection.

That’s a shame…the problem I have is that I generate a secure link to an excel file I upload each day to send to a ‘members only’ list who signup via E-Store/Paypal recurring monthly subscription.

However, I have noticed there are quite a few more downloads each day than subsriber numbers via different IP’s so someone is being naughty and forwarding on the secure link. Ideally I would like to be able to track this somehow so I could either identify the offending IP’s or give me some more clues as to who could be forwarding on the secure link. Or is there just a better/more secure way I should be delivering this members-only information or an alternative method of tracking downloads via IP ?

I’ve just tried this but I am getting issues with downloading in IE and the only thing that resolves it is disabling the W3 Total Cache Plugin. I am switching back to wp super cache just wondering if you had any ideas of a workaround…seems to work ok in Firefox/Chrome…weird one -:

Sorry I’m not sure which version I have, how would I find out ? Yes, the problem for example is that if someone has a monthly sub and they paid on the 10th June and cancelled on say the 7th July before the next monthly sub is due an email is still sent out saying their subscription payment has gone through on the 10th July. It’s confusing to the customer and myself Just would like to get it cleared up as I’m looking to get the wp affiliate plugin and want to make sure I don’t have any issues before installing another product.
