Fantastic support, as ever. Thanks very much.
FCurrieParticipantExactly like that!
If that works with PDF Stamper that’ll be absolutely perfect!
Many thanks.

FCurrieParticipantHi There,
Just checking if the WYSIJA integration is now done and available?
Cheers,

It would also allow you to offer a good workaround for the ‘paypal doesn’t allow future events’ challenge, as I know other people have faced similar challenges.
My launch is pretty imminent, but I’d be interested to hear more about your addon idea if there is time.

I understand the principle, so how do I achieve this scenario (points 3 & 4):
– the early bird period starts 10 days before the official launch (which itself includes a 7 day trial)
– if an early bird subscribes 10 days before launch, then the eStore product details are set so that they have a 17 day trial period
– if an early bird subscribes 5 days before launch, then I want them to have a 12 day trial period, so that all early bird trial period finish 7 days after launch. (Of course I really want people to be able to subscribe at any point during the early bird period)
Does this mean I have to change the trial period every day in the Product Details, or is there an automated/better way to achieve this?
Cheers,
F.

Sorry I wasn’t clear. What I really need help with, is how to technically set up a subscription for a future start date – for example, exactly the situation you describe in your second paragraph.
I want them to be able to use paypal to subscribe – for example – for 10 days before the service starts, and then to have a trial period, before the subscription defaults to their regular price.
Thanks in advance for your help.

FCurrieParticipantHi
I would also like to request full integration for the WYSIJA autoresponder plugin.
Can I also echo Dennis’ request for information about whether the integration that has already been done will be available in the next release, or is available to buy.
Thanks,
F.
FCurrieParticipantAn admin approval option would be very helpful, where the applicant is told that their application is pending, until it is (or isn’t) approved, followed by a further email confirming their status.
I would also like to request this feature.
FCurrieParticipantHiya,
I have read the post and understand the pros & cons of plain text versus HTML.
For me a consistent communication tone and brand image is a high priority, so I would much prefer to use HTML in all my communication.
I find the plain text and especially the very long download links look poor, though I understand other people may consider them okay.
My simple suggestion is that in future builds you provide users the flexibility to make that choice for themselves – as you do in so many other areas – rather than denying them that option.
All the best,
F.

Thanks very much. I was using the wrong shortcode. That’s working perfectly now.
All the best,

March 22, 2013 at 11:47 am in reply to: pdf stamper – daily newsletter with monthly subscription #54579FCurrieParticipantHi There,
Thanks for the further info.
I bought eMember just so that could use Option 3 (above). After installing that, plus the extra short-codes and the members only plugin, I have the following experience:
– I can stamp the pdf manually.
– The pdf is stamped correctly if I purchase it and then download it – when not logged in – by pressing the ‘buy now’ button.
– The pdf is not stamped if I download it – when I am logged in – by using the ‘download’ button.
If you can advise how to get this last bit working, so that the logged-in members download is also stamped – then this solution is quite elegant and workable.
I tried Option 1 and it does work, but it is a poor daily user experience.
Thanks for your help.

March 21, 2013 at 9:00 am in reply to: pdf stamper – daily newsletter with monthly subscription #54577FCurrieParticipantHi There,
Thanks for a quick and very helpful reply.
My aim is to make the pdf delivery as simple and hassle-free for the subscribers as possible, so I have one further question: is it possible to email the subscribers an individualised download link, so that they can bypass a formal login process and either:
a. download the individually stamped pdf without visiting the site at all, or
b. go straight to the download page where they can get the individually stamped pdf with a single click
I think the fewer keystrokes and hassle they have to go through, the better it will be.
If you have any more thoughts I’d be very glad to hear them.
Thanks for your help,
F.
