Is it possible to force new affiliates to be approved by the admin?

Hi,

No you cannot manually “approve” affiliates but you can set the “Do Not Allow Visitors to Signup” checkbox in the settings page to selectively add affiliates.

Or alternatively you can use the “Send Signup Notification to Admin” checkbox to get a notification email after someone signs up as an affiliate after which you can choose to keep them or delete them.

It would be great if they could be set as pending approval. Consider this a feature request.

An admin approval option would be very helpful, where the applicant is told that their application is pending, until it is (or isn’t) approved, followed by a further email confirming their status.

I would also like to request this feature.

This feature has been added to the plugin. We should be able to include it in the next build of this plugin.
