What happened was I would visit an article page and be able to view the entire article, but if I refreshed the page or visited any article (including the initial landing page), a paywall message would be displayed.

Visits to landing pages from any link is free, but subsequent visits put up a paywall message.
Can we make this happen? I feel like this feature could be a driving force for many people to pick up this plugin. Major selling point with the people I’ve discussed it with.
January 18, 2013 at 4:24 pm in reply to: WP eMember — First Click Free from linking site other than Google #53139douglanceMemberI thought about it further, and I want to be able to have a special link to a post that visitors using that link can view the full content of that page, but other users that don’t have the special link cannot view it unless they have the proper membership level.
I’d prefer it not to be affiliated with the Google First Click feature. So I can turn the first click off, and still be able to use the links.
Bonus points if I can also append an affiliate ID onto the link.

November 7, 2012 at 12:16 am in reply to: eMember – Universal membership level throughout Multisite #51064douglanceMemberIt’s simply not possible? Couldn’t I re-code the plugin to draw from a different database?
October 24, 2012 at 9:00 pm in reply to: eStore – How would I add a "Buy as a gift" button to check out? #50617douglanceMemberWouldn’t that entail having to manually send the product along? I can’t duplicate some code and send it automatically?
