    Are you suggesting that the address checking security feature does not work with the Secure Merchant ID?

    The feature allowing for the Secure Merchant ID is interfering with the message transmitted to the Thank You page.

    I tried changing the Secure Merchant ID to the PayPal e-mail address. After another successful transaction, the field which used to contain the error message, “Invalid Seller Paypal Email Address Detected”, changed to the thank you message, “Thank You for your purchase. Product(s) will be delivered when the payment is cleared.”

    What should I do to be able to use the Secure Merchant ID without the error message showing?

    So, that does confirm that the “…Address Checking” option should be left checked, especially since an alias is not in use.

    What is meant by the “Secure Merchant ID”?

    Is that the PayPal merchant ID? Or, does it have to be the PayPal e-mail address?

    I did find a “Confirm” button for the PayPal e-mail address. When tried, I got the message, “This email address has already been confirmed.”

    So, that leaves the obscure “…Address Checking” option as a cause and the unknown dangers of unchecking it.

    I am also getting this error on the Thank You page.

    The e-mail address shows on the PayPal profile with a status of “Primary”. How do I determine if the e-mail address is “confirmed” or not?

    I read the help text for the “Use Strict PayPal Email Address Checking”. But, it is too vague and I do not understand what it really means. This option is checked by default. And, the help text makes it sound unsafe if unchecked.

    You didn’t specify if you were using the latest version of the plugin. If you are not, upgrade it per the General Advice above.

    The “order” attribute of the “show all products” shortcode does not seem to work for value 1, ascending product ID. For example, it shows my products in the following ID order: 1, 3, 2.
