I just did a test.
And it works fine now.
Thank you very much for the support.

It is a one item purchase (buy now). And I’m using the textlink function. I did the test purchase with this link: [http://www.coachdrague.com/blog/?wp_eStore_buy_now=8]

December 8, 2014 at 11:50 pm in reply to: Update Yoast Google Analytics + Epic Plugins Addon -> tracking stopped working #66348DigbickParticipantGreat,
I got it working partially.
It tracks the sales and the revenue, but it doesn’t track the product.
So in Google Analytics I can see the that there has been a sale and the sale value.
But I can’t see which product has been sold.
Before, with the “old tracking system” (eStore + GA by Yoast) it tracked also the product and the product SKU.
And of course, that’s very valuable info.
So, how can I track which products are being sold with the new Epic Plugin?
Thanks in advance.

If I’m not mistaken, I should UNCHECK the checkbox: WP eStore -> Settings -> 3d Party integration -> Google Analytics Tracking: Enable Google Analytics Tracking.
And instead install and activate the Google Analytics eCommerce Tracking plugin by Epic Plugins and then enter my GA tracking ID in: WP eStore -> eCommerce Tracking -> Analytics E-Commerce Tracking Settings.
Is that correct?
Thanks again.

A few years ago, people added to Getresponse via eStore were not put in the follow-up/autoresponder cyle. In other words, they were put on the Getresponse list, but they did not receive the follow-ups/autoresponders.
So I contacted you, and you changed that. From then on people added to Getresponse via eStore were added to the follow-up cycle. They did receive the preprogrammed autoresponders.
You can find more info here:

A few more questions:
1. Do I really need to update my eStore plugin for the Epic Plugin to track my sales properly?
2. I want to have general website stats, so I’ll keep Google Analytics by Yoast. Will GA by Yoast interfere with Epic Plugin? Or can both coexist in peace?
3.If I really need to update eStore, do I have to update it first and then contact you regarding the Getresponse integration (option 3.a)? Will you send me a “modified” updated version of eStore plugin (option 3.b)? Or are contacts now by default put in the follow-up cycle by eStore (option 3.c), which means that I can siply update eStore?
Thanks in advance.
DigbickParticipantDo I have to update it? Because my current version is a customized one. I paid you 25$ for the customization. And if I update I’ll lose the customization. So, is it necessary or not?
DigbickParticipantYou were right, in PayPal it was set to windows-1252. I changed it to UTF-8 as described in your procedure.
My eStore version is v5.9.9.6.
Thanks for the support.
DigbickParticipantHell, I have the same problem as Julius. Customers with accents in their names don’t get added to the campaign.
My customers are french speaking so there are à lot of names like Stpéhane, Cédric, Rémy…
Help me out, because I realise this is a serious problem…
Thanks in advance.

I found the full code snippet:
But I don’t know what to do with it.
Can you please tell me what I can remove? Can you tell me what it should look like so that only the downloadlink gets displayed and nothing else?
Thanks in advance.

DigbickParticipantI have found another solution. The method specified above works fine, however it has one big drawback. It could affect your other input fields.
I’m using a customized input field on my archive page and with the code above, it gets affected, so it doesn’t look anymore the way I wanted it to look
With a bit of trial and error I found a solution that ONLY affects the eStore buttons.
Here it is:
In the custom file editor, you can specify the width and height of the button…
BUT!!!!
Make sure you use the “min-width” property instead of “width”. The “height” property works just fine…
Here’s the code I use for my salespages (inserted in the custom css file) as an example:
.eStore_buy_now_button, .eStore_subscribe_button, .eStore_button
{
background: #EBEBEB;
border: solid #ebebeb;
min-width: 600px;
}That’s what it looks like (bottom of the page):

DigbickParticipantGreat great news! Thanks a lot for the fantastic service!
DigbickParticipantHello admin,
Do you have any news regarding the Getresponse Integration? Meanwhile I try to capture my leads with a optinpage between the last paypal page and my thank you page (last paypal page –> optin page –> thank you page).
The problem is that some of the customers leave the checkout proces after having paid, but before arriving to the optin page.
So they buy my stuff, they receive their stuff via the eStore e-mail with the downloadlink, but I can’t follow up with them (for my backend) because they haven’t been added to my backend mailinglist.
I try to counter this by sending them an additional email asking them to optin again, but some of them still don’t respond.
With the Getresponse integration that problem would be solved totally…
Thanks for your time and consideration,
Konsti
