May 18, 2013 at 8:01 am in reply to: Affiliate Program – Can I use PDT for a specific process & IPN for the affiliat #55698diamexMemberThank you, I got everything set up and tested with IPN – works like a charm although I am having to add the code by hand after creating the buy buttons. By code I mean:
<input name=”notify_url” type=”hidden” value=”http://my-site.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/api/ipn_handler.php” />
<input name=”custom” type=”hidden” value=”[wp_aff_custom_args]” />
I tried adding that into the “Add advanced variables” section on step 3 of creating a button in an attempt to automate it but that didn’t work.
Have you any suggestions for that?
diamexMemberThanks for the support!

diamexMemberOK, I reviewed everything that I have done. Then did it all again. I read all the suggested posts to see if I missed anything – cleared my cache as that was mentioned in one post.
Still no success accessing the Gold or silver content even though my membership is a gold.
Here is what I have done with content:
All 3 levels are set Global Access To Pages Categories Posts Comments
In the “manage Content Protection” section I click the drop down and choose the General Protection item
I am only protecting certain pages so I put a check mark in the box next to all of them and click the “Set Protection” button
Then I Choose Gold from the menu and click the “Set Protection” button again because all the pages I have selected are still selected and gold gets to see all of them
Then I choose Silver and uncheck all the gold only pages to leave the silver and bronze pages accessible for the level and click the “Set Protection” button
Then I choose the Bronze from the menu and remove all the checks for the silver only pages leaving only the bronze pages checked and click the “Set Protection” button
Then I log in with my gold membership and can still only access the bronze level.
I’m missing something guess but am stumped as to what it is.
You’re it!
diamexMemberThanks for the reply. I did the testing and it was a plugin causing the conflict.
You can add Ken Sar’s “WordPress Corner Peel Plugin” v1.0 to the liost of plugins that don’t play nice as it was the culprit. No offense to the plugin – it works well – just not with eMember.
Thanks again.
Vince
diamexMemberI just purchased and installed the latest version of eMember – v7.6.8
I am running WP v3.3
My theme was created using Artisteer – I only mention that because I see theme issues stated above for someone else experiencing the same problem.
Everything installed and was set up without a hitch as far as eMember was concerned until I tried to create a level. I am not able to create on. The button is non-responsive.
I am not a techy so would need details if there is something I need to edit code wise.
Thanks in advance,
Vince
