    Thanks … really appreciate your help with this … seems to be working fine now.

    Tried it all over again. Got the same results. This time I documented everything in screenshots here:

    Same build, same modifications work fine with theeasybible.com – I think we’re on the same server – not sure why it wouldn’t work with this.

    Thanks much in advance for unraveling this.

    We deployed this with our main site and it worked fine. We wanted to use it on this site as well. When I deactivate, delete, reinstall and activate the plugin as provided above, the transfer to PayPal works fine. But, as soon as I download (Filezilla, binary mode) the eStore_advanced_configs.php file and replace the 0 with Wisconsin residents check here and upload (Filezilla, binary mode) the altered file — I get the Wisconsin sales tax added, but I cannot then transfer to PayPal. If I try again and don’t click for Wisconsin sales tax, I still cannot transfer to PayPal upon clicking the “checkout with PayPal” button.

    This is the only modification I made to the php file:

    define(‘WP_ESTORE_APPLY_TAX_FOR_CERTAIN_AREA’, ‘Wisconsin residents check here’);

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks so much, using the shortcodes resolved the problem – appreciate it.

    I can’t figure out why the estore plugin would be pulling code from the contact 7 plug in. I don’t know if this matters, but I recently changed themes to Responsive. Prior to that change I had WP Super Cache – which worked fine with estore, then I deactivated it, then I reactivated it after the above post following the instructions at https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/using-the-plugins-together-with-wp-super-cache-plugin

    No difference – I still get the same error message.
