My files say they are getting stamped but not stamp shows up on the stamped file pages?
EDIT: I downloaded the test pdf file and tried manually stamping it. The PDF stamper admin panel said it was successfully stamped, and a stamped file was generated, but there was no stamp on any of the pages.
EDIT #2: I’m going back through all of my stamped files, and it’s looking like although PDF Stamper has been generating and delivering files, it hasn’t actually STAMPED them since I upgraded to the latest version April 13th. I upgraded WPeStore, WPAffiliate, and WP PDF Stamper all at the same time. I wonder if others have noticed an issue?
Thanks,
Daisy
April 22, 2011 at 4:34 pm in reply to: Stamping Error Checklist – an error occurred while trying to stamp the file #24380cflyrunMemberPDF Stamper was working fine, with my source file in a special folder in the root directory (and not viewable in a browser). All of a sudden it doesn’t work anymore unless I put the source file in the wp-pdf-stamper source-files directory. Any reason that this might have changed?
When I say “work”, it will say in the manual stamper that it has stamped the file, but when I inspect the file, it’s not been stamped at all. Something is afoot…
EDIT: I’m sorry this got posted in two topics, delete the one where it’s not appropriate, I suppose. I downloaded the supplied PDF test file from the forum, put it in my source-files directory, and tried manually stamping it. PDF Stamper said it successfully stamped the file, but there was no stamp on the generated file.

cflyrunMemberI *think* so but I’m not sure; yesterday I had to fiddle with a customer to see which membership level had to be primary to get ALL of them to work. Here’s what made it finally work, which seems bizarre to me:
Membership Level A – Access to posts I have individually designated in category A. Category is not protected, I do it post by post
Membership Level C – Access to a single page that I have individually designated.
Membership Level B – Access to a single custom post type that I have individually designated.
Membership Level A was purchased first. Membership level B was purchased yesterday. Membership level C I manually set yesterday after Membership level B was purchased. They can only view all three membership levels if Membership Level C is the primary level.

cflyrunMemberI don’t have any category protections set; I do it all on individual post basis.

cflyrunMemberUnless I missed it in the latest update, there isn’t an option to have shipping costs dependent on the order total in the cart. That’s what I’m doing right now with PHPurchase (which I hate just on the principle of what they’ve recently done with support, etc.).
But in any case, I still *love* all the Tips and Tricks products!!

cflyrunMemberI’m sure you don’t hear this often enough, so I’ll second it. I’m using Affiliate, eMember, eStore, and PDF Stamper. My only complaint is that the shipping isn’t “quite” flexible enough to allow me to use eStore for those websites where I sell physical items. I’m stuck using another shopping cart that I really wish I didn’t have to support – their support is terrible and they don’t seem to care half as much about their product as you do.
But, I love how the plugins get updated regularly, the support form has an active member offering support….I’m not sure but I get the feeling this is close to a 1-person operation, and I’m pretty impressed. As a small business owner myself, I appreciate the support and the functionality, as well as the extensive documentation AND the tips and tricks for blog and website development.
THANKS,
Daisy
cflyrunMemberHow did you fix the problem?
cflyrunMemberI have a similar question – I have multiple memberships. Some allow people to access multiple pages for weekly classes, but I also have a membership that is for one article and one article only. When I test it, if in my own account my primary membership is set to the weekly classes, I can’t access the article, even though that membership level is also ticked. But when I list the article membership level as my primary level, I can still access the classes, because they are ticked.
I’m guessing this isn’t a real problem, I just hope I don’t have a ton of people who are already signed up for classes buy the article and then not be able to access it because their primary membership is the classes…or will it automatically change to the article?

cflyrunMemberYep, emails are getting sent out. For the time being, I’ve solved the issue with a buy now button rather than a shopping cart button. I’m not sure why one would work and the other doesn’t, but that’s OK Once I have more than one digital product, I’ll see about going back to the cart button, but for now I’m OK.
Thanks!
cflyrunMemberSweet, thanks!

cflyrunMemberI’m not sure if this answers my question – are you saying that they *can* be protected individually from the Admin section of the eMember plugin?
Currently I have templates set up for custom post types with php code versions of the shortcodes used to protect parts of pages (I’m using PHPurchase and am trying desperately to get away from them since they switched).
I guess I’ll just play around with it and see…
Daisy
cflyrunMemberThey’re not interested because they just unveiled that they’re going in a whole new direction. Bleh. If WP estore had shipping rates that were a tiny bit more flexible (I use for physical products too) I’d ditch PHPurchase entirely. Double Bleh
Daisy
cflyrunMemberWow, I feel like a total NEWB. Um yeah, never thought to check the AddOn settings in WP eStore to actually check the REVENUE SHARING box. Duh. I’m an idiot, thanks for making WP eStore (nearly) idiotproof
