There is a delay in my response because I didn’t receive the notification of an update. I’m sure you sent it but who knows why it didn’t arrive.
I have gone through some examples and pasted screen shots into a file.
PDF of screen shotsBasically, I can see the shipping data being handled differently from one case to another but can’t determine what determines how or why.
I want to achieve a result where the shipping is always listed separately in a receipt and not bundled into the price of an item.

carlfrenchSpectatorIs it possible to make the new short code round the amounts? For example, what should display as 4.95 is showing as 4.956
carlfrenchSpectatorThat’s brilliant! Thank you.
carlfrenchSpectatorSorry, I was referring to [wp_eStore_product_details id=1 info=”name”] where if I use
info=”price” it gives the price excluding tax but I’d like to be able to gve the price including tax. This is significant issue in the UK where in many cases there is a legal requirement to only state prices including tax.
carlfrenchSpectatorIs it possible to do a variation on this to show just the price but including the tax and if so how? Ideally it would be by a name in the short code descibed earlier but failing that by a php function as just stated.

That’s very useful.
I hadn’t found [wp_eStore_buy_now_for_specific_gateway id=”2″ gateway=”manual”] before.
What I was really looking for was a fancy version of it.
Something like…
[wp_eStore_buy_now_fancy_for_specific_gateway id=1 gateway=”manual”] – if you see what I mean.
Perhaps there is a short code but I haven’t found it and I have had a good look.
The other link was also very useful. Thank you.
November 10, 2012 at 12:13 pm in reply to: Redirect to Manual Checkout For Zero Amount Purchase – Not Working! #50802carlfrenchSpectatorOK, I started on this and found another error – now fixed – but my initial problem is still there.
“Enable Fancy Redirection On Checkout” was not checked.
However, I followed the other suggestion… I included an add to cart button and if I do that and then hit the checkout button it all works. However, I’m attempting to use a buy-now button and that is where the problems is. It goes to PayPal in that case.
Any further suggestions?
Also, (perhaps this should be another post?) for the case where it does work I see that the order confirmation form asks for data that is again asked for at registration. Is there a way of combining these two? I search for an answer but couldn’t find one.

Yes I had copied everything to a subdirectory of the main site and had missed the fact that the Download Validation Script Location needed to be changed. Sorry! I kept reading that I needn’t change it instead of checking it!
The downlaod log file is working now too.
Along the way I’ve learned some very useful stuff about the product.
I am VERY HAPPY with the quality and speed of the support I’ve had. I switched from another shop product because of poor quality and support. Your support is some of the best I’ve ever had.
October 26, 2012 at 4:43 pm in reply to: The secure download manager ran into a problem – product ID not in database #50702carlfrenchSpectatorI’ve done that. The instructions were very clear and I had no problems with them.
BUT, I get exactly the same error message.
The debug log file has no text in it.
By way of an extra test I created a new product with a very small zip file and no pdf file but that didn’t work either – same error.
Is it significant that the download debug file contains no output?
I don’t know whether I mentioned it earlier, I think I did, but when I first did a trial purchase all the other debug files had content and only the download log (where the problem was) didn’t.

The file does exist and has permissions set to 664 (I haven’t changed them).
I did a “reset debug log files” after the problem arose because the file displayed nothing. Now it just shows
[10/25/2012 10:20 AM] – Advisory : Log file reset.
and it doesn’t change.
I’ve just tried using the Admins function screen with two different products and get exactly the same error. The log file contains nothing new.
