Thanks for the reply. Is it possible to add this function with manual coding? If so, would you be able to give me a starting point? I’d really appreciate it, as would a client of mine :)

    Thank you!

I am interested in using PayPal Advanced as well. I saw that it is now included in the Payment Gateway Bundle addon: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-payment-gateway-bundle-paypal-payments-advanced-setup-2245

Can you tell me: If I buy this addon to use PP Advanced, will I have the capabilities of allowing Subscriptions (recurring payments) with Advanced?

    Thanks!

It works like a charm after the upgrade. I will have to limit the mods to core files so I don’t lose them when it needs upgraded. Thanks again for your help!

I’ve updated the eStore plugin to v6.4.7 and the issue persists.

The links above can still be used to recreate the bug.

    Hey admin,

Just realized that I am using an outdated version. I’ve sent an upgrade request and will get back to this thread once the new version has been installed.

I’ve loaded a fresh version of the plugin and the Extra Shortcodes plugin.

Here’s how to recreate the issue:

    – Visit http://bit.ly/ApTnqU and click “Buy Now” (this is a product in category 1)

    – Then visit http://bit.ly/wOdslV and click “Buy Now” on one of the SEO packages (this is a product in category 2)

    – In the cart, use coupon code FACEBOOKCC011

    Thanks for your help!

    Admin,

    Option #2 worked the best.

I am using a stand-alone checkout page (no sidebars). Customers are taken to the checkout page once they click “Buy Now”.

In case this might help someone else looking for a similar fix:

I widgetized a section of my header (where I want the cart link, since I’m not using sidebars on my separate checkout page) and used a WP 3.3 custom menu. I then inserted the compact cart on the “Header” custom menu and applied custom styles to achieve the “effect” I was looking for. This enables customers who leave the checkout page to click a link in the header that returns them to the checkout page.

It isn’t perfect since I had to modify some core files from the shortcode extender plugin (which I assume will need re-modified upon plugin updates), but I got it just the way I wanted nonetheless. Thanks!

Thanks, Peter, that worked like a charm

I performed a text search for “Buy Now” in /languages and replaced each instance of “Buy Now” with my desired phrase.

    That worked –

Thanks so much for your help – I will be sure to keep the PHP website handy for future code issues.

    Thanks again!
