eStore – Pay with credit card for PayPal subscriptions (recurring payments)

Hello,

I am trying to setup yearly eStore Subscription payments using PayPal. I’d like customers to be able to pay for Subscriptions 1) with PayPal or 2) by using a credit card WITHOUT having to sign-up for a PayPal account.

I found similar threads here but I’m still a bit lost. I have my account setup as a Verified Business, yet when I go to pay at PayPal, I am forced to sign up for an account.

Any direction is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi, PayPal made it so merchants have to pay a little extra for accepting credit card for subscription payment. You need to activate a feature/service called “Enhanced Recurring Payments” in your PayPal account and you will get the ability to offer subscription checkout via credit card.

So contact them or use the link on their site to add that feature to your PayPal account and you should be good. Once the “Enhanced Recurring Payments” service is activated in your PayPal account, your customers will see the “pay via credit card” option when paying for a subscription.
