Hello,
I have a coupon code for $100 with the condition “Product Category ID is equal to 1”. If I add a product from category 1 and apply the coupon, I get $100 off the price. That works great.
But here’s where it “breaks”: I add a product from category 1 and 2. This time when I apply the coupon to the cart, the category 1 item is discounted for only $50. Basically, the coupon works on the product from category 1 while ignoring the category 2 item (which is good), but the coupon applies a $50 discount instead of the $100 it should be.
I am running WP 3.3.1, eStore 4.2.8.
I should also note that I have modified some of the core files, so it’s possible I may have been too aggressive in my tinkering.
Many thanks,
Brian
February 23, 2012 at 9:48 pm #42219adminKeymasterPlease load a fresh build of the plugin then post a link to the page where I can go and check this (share the coupon that I should use):

February 23, 2012 at 10:56 pm #42220BrianSpectatorI’ve loaded a fresh version of the plugin and the Extra Shortcodes plugin.
Here’s how to recreate the issue:
– Visit http://bit.ly/ApTnqU and click “Buy Now” (this is a product in category 1)
– Then visit http://bit.ly/wOdslV and click “Buy Now” on one of the SEO packages (this is a product in category 2)
– In the cart, use coupon code FACEBOOKCC011
Thanks for your help!
February 24, 2012 at 1:53 am #42221BrianSpectatorHey admin,
Just realized that I am using an outdated version. I’ve sent an upgrade request and will get back to this thread once the new version has been installed.
February 24, 2012 at 2:40 am #42222BrianSpectatorI’ve updated the eStore plugin to v6.4.7 and the issue persists.
The links above can still be used to recreate the bug.
February 24, 2012 at 9:23 am #42223adminKeymasterThank you for the details. I was able to track it down (there was an issue with the fixed coupon with category ID conditions when some items in the cart is not from the same category). I have fixed this in the plugin. Please download a new build from here and check it out:
February 24, 2012 at 10:12 am #42224BrianSpectatorIt works like a charm after the upgrade. I will have to limit the mods to core files so I don’t lose them when it needs upgraded. Thanks again for your help!
