Cool! I have wamp set up on my local PC but The Uniform Server sounds really nice! I will definitely check that out more to be sure. I have parts of the forms and all done and have things on the site behind a maintenance plugin anyhow, but always link local testing!

I really appreciate your patience and willingness to walk me through a process that I find both daunting and new! I really cannot say thanks enough! Like that proverbial “bad penny” and MacArthur combined…I know I’ll be back!

Okay, catching on now maybe! Thanks, WZP, for your patience!!! To create the forms and all, I’m using Formidable Pro. Let’s try a what if situation. What if during the registration and sign up process they must actually provide the names so that the pages can be created and saved as a draft. Then they can come back and fill in the details later, but only on those pages. What I am seeing from your guidance is that the actual naming and saving of their 1 or potentially more page(s) needs to be part of the initial process (somehow) …or so it seems to me. For instance, if they purchase a 3 page package, they would initially be given the opportunity to enter the names, and on clicking okay, they are saving a draft of the page that they can then go back, edit, fill in etc.

Am I closer to understanding this thing? Maybe???

Again, many thanks for your patience!

It is a pet memorial site, where that the user creates a memorial to a pet. Just like it sounds, creating text, uploading photos etc.

Cool… as far as I’m concerned nada is going in uncategorized any how. There is no blog cats on that page, just content added through their super neat input page. Probably hidden somewhere in un-cat. No problem, thanks for the assist!

http://lakelizards.org/ Thanks for taking a look. If I have to guess, the way MySiteMyWay works their homepage styling is that the copy gets stored somehow as uncategorized and that part of the content and only that part gets locked down. Like I said, I can work around it by not using the uncategorized and not locking it down.

Any suggestion would be appreciated though.

PS: Just went in and changed the permissions so the ONLY category that is protected on the main site is uncategorized, and the message is showing.

Okay, got it! Every time I thing I have MU figured out, it moves again! :) Oh well, actually I found a BP plugin that “should” (close kin to assume) manage to keep everything zipped up on the main site and accomplish things in a logical manner. It is the BuddyPress Groupblog, BTW. For my use that works, maybe. LOL!

Thanks for the assist and I’m SURE I’ll be back like a bad penny.
