Hi All,
Interesting thing is happening. Using the method theme by MySiteMyWay.com and the content on the homepage goes away with a login message when I protect the un-categorized category. Obviously, I could get around it but any ideas other than don’t protect it??
Also, I will be using Formidable Pro forms for front-end posts. Is there a shortcode or something that I can use to automatically set the protection levels rather than depend on users?
Thanks in advance!

Please post a link to the page so I can see what kind of login message you receive. Does your homepage show content from that category?
Does this form plugin use custom post types?
http://lakelizards.org/ Thanks for taking a look. If I have to guess, the way MySiteMyWay works their homepage styling is that the copy gets stored somehow as uncategorized and that part of the content and only that part gets locked down. Like I said, I can work around it by not using the uncategorized and not locking it down.
Any suggestion would be appreciated though.

PS: Just went in and changed the permissions so the ONLY category that is protected on the main site is uncategorized, and the message is showing.
I am not familiar with the theme you are using but is your homepage set to show the blog posts or a specific page? If it is set to show a specific page then have you used a plugin to assign categories to pages and that page is in the “uncategorized” category somehow? If it is placing content under the “uncategorized” category then you will have to do the workaround and not protect that category (Ideally all your good content will belong to a proper category).
Cool… as far as I’m concerned nada is going in uncategorized any how. There is no blog cats on that page, just content added through their super neat input page. Probably hidden somewhere in un-cat. No problem, thanks for the assist!
