August 23, 2010 at 6:58 pm in reply to: Setting up recurring payment using eStore and eMember #23485AswadMemberI know what you mean. I always tell my members to read the infos, because I know they don’t.
Now the problem is different since I had already done this, but did not work. Thinking that I miss understood, I took it away.
With or without the correction you mention, the problem remains. That’s why I insist on asking for you help.
I’ve sent you my admin info by email in case you had to check it out.
I’ll wait for your answer. Be sure I’m sorry to annoy you like that.

AswadMemberHello Gabriel,
Thanks for the suggestion. I have actually found a way around my problem simply by changing my business model.
Nevertheless, I am intersted to hear more about this software you mention. I don’t know If I will have to buy it, but it is good to know all possibilities that exist.

August 19, 2010 at 8:51 pm in reply to: Setting up recurring payment using eStore and eMember #23480AswadMemberHello,
I can set payment with buy now type button. Please confirm that the registration process to become a member is the same weither I use : [wp_eStore_buy_now:product_id:1:end] or [wp_eStore_buy_now_fancy id=1] (it should, I’m just checking).
On the other hand, when I try to set up a subscription payment with eStore, paypal says it cannot process the request. I cannot find my way out.
I want to make this work with eMember.
Your help is highly appreciated… and needed.
August 16, 2010 at 7:10 pm in reply to: Using pdf Stamper with eMember or even wishlist memer #23387AswadMemberHello Amin,
Thanks for your time.
So, if I understand well, all I need to do is :
1- Create a dowlaod page for each membership level that contain a PDF to be downloaded.
2- Then I use wp-eStore to create a download button which wil work with pdf stamper.
I think I have seen the explainations to create a free download button somewhere on the site. Is it what you recommend ?
thank you for your help.

August 3, 2010 at 12:50 pm in reply to: Suggestions and wishlist for the next version of eMember #22882AswadMemberThank you for doing it Amin.
It will be useful for many of us. But how do we get access to the addon ?
Thanks
AswadMemberThanks Amin,
it does make sense.
It gives me a clearer idea of how I can use the plugin.
AswadMemberYes I do have autoupgrade on for that specific membership.
After posting my message yesterday, I did more tests.
As I said. The change is validated if I retype the password. then, the member has access to the right membership, but he cannot access to the other membership level he was initially registered in.
My question ends like this :
If a member is registered for a membership level with auto upgrade, can that member also register to different membership level without loosing his former privilege ?
Can he register with the same email address and user name ?
You answer will surely save me some worries.
Thanks
Aswad
AswadMemberI Have found that if I choose a password and retype the password, the changes are actually saved, but when I connect using this test member, he is recognised with his former membershiplevel, not the one I allowed.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your time.
July 22, 2010 at 7:43 pm in reply to: Problem with multiple registration forms and redirections #22633AswadMemberHello,
thanks for your answers.
wpCommerce,
to answer your question, in the setting, “member registration page URL” was the free membership URL. I understand it is probably the reason why all confirm emails were taking me to this unique url.
Now you say “You can specify a separate URL for each membership level where different members will be redirected to after they log in”
I guess you mean in the “redirect after login” erea when setting the membership level. Am I correct ? If not, can you explain ?
Amin,
If I understand what you wrote, I don’t need to create a specific registration page for each membership level.
After paypal payment, the customer will receive an email with a link that will take him straight to the registration page which is on my site (provided the information is correctly set in the settings), and the plugin will automatically select the correct membership level in the form. Is it true even if the initial registration page was set for a free membership ?
Then I need separate registration forms only in the case where for example, I want some customer to register to a paid membership level to which I want to grant free access. Of course, it is just an example, but am I correct ?
Last question,
since I use estore for payments, After paypal payment is done, the customer is redirected to a thank you page which I had already set in the estore setting in the past. Do I need to keep this thank you page active in estore settings ? or does eMember plugin redirects the new member to a specific page after payment. this part is not presented in the videos you asked me to watch.
thank you for both your help, and have a great time in Australia. I love this country.
Aswad
AswadMemberThank you. Much easier than I thought.
Have a great week-end.
AswadMemberThank you for your answer.
Your integrity towards your challengers is a great attitude, but I have really lost many members just because of this trouble I told you about.
So I want to run the test you suggest and see. Just how do I import the users from wordpress?
Thank you
