January 24, 2012 at 10:02 am in reply to: Suddenly no e-mail and no track of sales after the purchase #41115anotherbreedMember
Nevertheless the option is set to send the e-mail… I also tried to send an e-mail from the Admin Functions of eStore to me, and it was successfully delivered (so the script works).
Another detail: Amin did a customisation to the plug-in for me in 2010, he added a ‘Receipt Counter’ and this value was increasing of 1 for each purchase made. Even this value seems to have stopped working now (I checked the database). So, the payment is processed but the transaction is not tracked…
Fews days ago everything was running fine. At this point I begin to think that something should be happened to my host (Hostgator), to PayPal or to the WordPress update.

That’s all for now. I am going to do another test again today.
anotherbreedMemberI made a mistake: I was using the wrong ID, the custom image works perfectly.
anotherbreedMemberHi Amin,
yes, I did use the “Copy Product Details” feature on some items that have been sold before. I actually didn’t realized I was copying the sales number as well, good to know.
Thank you.
September 8, 2010 at 8:44 am in reply to: Where is the {transaction_id} stored? How to reset it? #24021anotherbreedMemberMaybe it is different in my custom version, you did this customization for me, Amin: {transaction_id} generates an incremental nunmber (1,2,3,4…) for each transaction.
I saw the same shortcode in the official reference page so I supposed it was become a standard feature of eStore.
I just want to reset it to 0. I didn’t find anything on the database.
anotherbreedMemberThank you, now it works fine again.
anotherbreedMemberYes, please tell me how to disable this.
anotherbreedMemberYeah, but if you had a chance to read the other topic (link https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/request-for-custom-taxation-and-invoice-features) I have a big little problem: according to my country law, I have to charge the tax not only by region/country but have to distinguish private customers and companies. PayPal confirmed me they can’t.
I should add the tax calculation before PayPal asking the user some more details. I just would this to be as quicker as possible (following eStore philosophy that I agree).
Any ideas would be appreciated, I would require a customization from you rather than pay an external developer that doesn’t know eStore.
anotherbreedMemberAmin,
would it be technically possible to add the form (using cForm as you said) in a page just before the payment? And to add taxation or not based on how the customer fill that form (eg. if the Country selected is A instead of B, charge % tax)?
I mean, would it be a big architectural alteration?
anotherbreedMemberSame here, I don’t see what displayed at this link:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-tax-calculation-916
My current version: 3.7.3
anotherbreedMemberI would like to be able to do that within the Settings page. Maybe in the next update?
That is a very common thing for digital products (one of the biggest purpose of WP eStore).
Altering the code is not for everyone and we have to do it everytime a new version of WP eStore is relased.
Thank you.
anotherbreedMemberWhoa.. Great!
June 21, 2010 at 8:20 pm in reply to: Products and Customers lost (but not Settings) after moving from local PC #21906anotherbreedMemberYeah I understand, but I don’t get how it can recall settings data even if I deleted all eStore database tables! Or why it didn’t read (and save new) products data already present in the database displaying me no products in the WordPress admin panel.
Maybe is there an other place where it saves those informations?
P.S.: I already solved my problem by adding everything again, but I’m interested in this discussion.
anotherbreedMemberOk, tested online, I receive two email:
– The post payment verification for a payment failed. (Funds have not been cleared yet)
– A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: the paypal sandbox email
Woha.. I’ll just try with my real account and real money, have no time for Paypal Sandbox funny rules…
June 20, 2010 at 9:06 pm in reply to: Products and Customers lost (but not Settings) after moving from local PC #21903anotherbreedMemberI have fixed for now by deactivating, deleting the plugin and all the database tables of eStore. I reinstalled it, and now can add AND save products successfully.
The strange thing: Settings data is still there…!
I will work only online.
