If you do not wish to charge tax for a particular item (for example: a digital item) then set the individual item tax of that item to 0 (zero) and it will not charge any sales tax on that item. You can set the individual tax of a product from under the Shipping and Tax section of that product.
never mind, my new writer, protected the content… by mistake… LOL but I still should have acces to everything, how to I make sure when it’s protected, I have access as the admin to everything?

Well I do, I’m the creator of the site and always have had access. so what changed? No, what changed was 3.2 word press? Any ideas? I can’t edit, I can post comment on the site but I can not see the comments. in fact, I’m having issues with login twice from the back and front, when I’m login in the back it does not recognize that I’m also on the front help!
Note: my content (admin) is now restricted, is there a new update that I missed. is there one coming for the 3.2 wp update. seems this is happening because of that…
yep I selected only my zip and not all USA… so that did it. I can’t check myself because paypal won’t let me use my own account, silly but I had them do a run and it showed the shipping and tax… thanks!!! it’s up

Okay I contacted paypal and they helped me with the taxes I’m just doing it from chicago at 10.250 but still I can’t get the shipping fate rate to show up….

didn’t add… and not sure where the Gender section is located so I can add mtf and ftm along with male and female.

I’m not sure we are talking about the same thing. not members but post. all members. are free at this time. and will remain so. the only thing I will add is pages, with content that paid members will have access too.

thanks amin007, I see the new fields but how do you add additional records to gender? I need to add transgender. right now it only has male, female and unspecified. I would rather remove that and add transgender.
I will try it out, but regarding protection to article post, but so I have to add this code for all 400 articles? Or is there a one step solution to add protection for all articles posts? I need to update some archived articles anyway, but I would like to do the latest 100 articles if possible. or all of them.. thanks for your help… I knew the fact that my site is almost 3 years old might be issue with all the data…. cheers….
