I get what you are saying, but since we have the option to create a registration form in WPemember I created one to get more information than is allowed in the regular WP profile (for instance I ask for our members specialties and bio). Therefore, even though they have a previous profile, it needs to be updated to include this new information. How can this be done then?
January 15, 2021 at 3:59 pm in reply to: Registration link is not working – also after deactivate other plugins #82309No I did not manually add myself I imported myself from WP. Not sure what you mean by “regular registration process” and whether it can be done if I already have a WP user account. And why would the option to create a registration link and mail it to the member be there if that does not work? I am testing that way because I need to send the reg link to a lot of people (and no not in bulk) that I imported because they are paid members in good standing from the previous membership plugin I used.
January 14, 2021 at 5:12 pm in reply to: Registration link is not working – also after deactivate other plugins #82306No I added myself as a member then generated the link and the email from the admin functions page using my Member ID. And when I clicked the link in the email I received I got that error message. And again I checked the registration page and shortcode and they are set-up as instructed.
January 14, 2021 at 1:47 pm in reply to: Registration link is not working – also after deactivate other plugins #82303My registration link is not working when I click it as a test to myself I get this error message:
Error! The unique registration code you used in the URL has already been used or it is invalid!
And it has definitely not been used. I checked as you noted to the OP and it still does not work. What could be the problem. I need to send this to a lot of members.
January 14, 2021 at 7:32 am in reply to: Change default sort order to "Last Name: Ascending" in eMember Profile Extended #82295Looks like I got it to work with a redirect to the right URL.
January 13, 2021 at 6:46 pm in reply to: Change default sort order to "Last Name: Ascending" in eMember Profile Extended #82294I am using Astra Theme. When I click on the link in the menu the URL has turned to this: https://divorcefinancialplanner.org/member-directory-2/orderby=last_name&order=asc/ Notice that the ? in front of “orderby” is removed.
January 13, 2021 at 8:39 am in reply to: Change default sort order to "Last Name: Ascending" in eMember Profile Extended #82280I know this is old, but I did not want to open the same question as a new topic. I read this answer:
You can create a link like the following which will sort the list by last name.
When users click on this link to go to this page, they will see the sorted list.
I need this as a menu item not just a link. I have tried adding the link to my menu as a custom link, but it is not working. How can I do this as a menu item? I want the directory listed in ascending order by last name.
December 26, 2020 at 2:16 am in reply to: Send a Registration Link to Imported WP Users to update their profiles #82180This does not really help me since my members don’t normally log in as we are an organization for Divorce Financial Planners and we use the directory for potential customers to find them. I know the import does not send an email, but is there no way to send a bulk registration link to people that are missing most of the info I want displayed on their profile page? I know how to do this 1 by 1, just looking for a way to do it in bulk.
That worked! Thank you.

December 21, 2020 at 10:23 am in reply to: calendar in “manage members’ page does not work – will not display numbers #82157This is also happening to me. Can you post a solution please. I am attaching a screenshot of the issue. Basically the calendar is not working. Nothing drops down so I cannot select a different date. For me I chose the wrong expiration date for a level and I cannot fix it because of this issue
Although the calendar does not work anywhere and it was previously. This is an emergency.
Thanks for your help. I was not using the gateway specific button..but I am now and it is working. Great service as always.
