Well it only took another four hours it seems. But hopefully this can help someone else. This is what ended up working for me. I sometime wonder if this plugin resets itself. I’m not sure if this is how the plugin was designed to work but this is what worked. Hopefully moderators do not mind.
Under General Settings:
Enable After login Redirection – check mark in the box
Enable Auto Login After Redirection – no check mark in the box
Under Pages/Form Settings
Under After Login Page – I put member-support link
Under After Registration Page – I put the access-granted link
Under Member Level
Under Redirect After Login – No Link (I Removed the link that was there)

I saw one that was a wordpress plugin but I’m not sure if it would hold up under heavy usage.
abkraMemberOops my bad.
I tested s2member to see if it could protect a helpdesk that was not embedded in a page or post and also tested a payment. And guess what (tee hee embarrassed) I forgot to change the IPN url back in PayPal to what emember needs.
That was the last thing to check and now everything is working again.
Thanks for tips on things to check.
abkraMemberI did not purchase estore. I purchased emember only. I use PayPal subscription buttons by themselves.
This morning I double checked PayPal settings, emember settings, and removed the checkmark from protecting the registration page after reading this post https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/general-protection-versus-granting-access#post-11441.
After that was done I used a different email address, credit card, and name. The only thing that was the same was the address.
Is this still a problem? At first I had it set to let previous members reactivate but no emails were sent out so I removed that option.
