Test payment yesterday and everything worked just fine. Test payment today and no email that says complete registration. This after 5 test payments. Is it because the email had already been used once and inactive? So I deleted the membership and tried again and still nothing.
I’m only using the PayPal regular subscription button and emember. I don’t use estore.

June 8, 2012 at 3:37 pm #45971abkraMemberI did not purchase estore. I purchased emember only. I use PayPal subscription buttons by themselves.
This morning I double checked PayPal settings, emember settings, and removed the checkmark from protecting the registration page after reading this post https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/general-protection-versus-granting-access#post-11441.
After that was done I used a different email address, credit card, and name. The only thing that was the same was the address.
Is this still a problem? At first I had it set to let previous members reactivate but no emails were sent out so I removed that option.

June 9, 2012 at 2:50 am #45973abkraMemberOops my bad.
I tested s2member to see if it could protect a helpdesk that was not embedded in a page or post and also tested a payment. And guess what (tee hee embarrassed) I forgot to change the IPN url back in PayPal to what emember needs.
That was the last thing to check and now everything is working again.
Thanks for tips on things to check.
June 16, 2012 at 4:30 pm #45974visualadventuresMemberI’ve been having ongoing problems with receiving the registration emails through Gmail or Yahoo, but I can receive them just fine on my own personal email account (@visualadventures.com) through my website. I’ve tried adding filters and that hasn’t worked either. I’ll get a receipt, but no registration email. I’ve tried setting the registration email to come from different email accounts and that hasn’t seemed to affect anything. The emails aren’t even showing up in the junk folder they just don’t show. The debug logs also look fine.
Where do I go from here? Most customers are not receiving their registration links.
I’m using Paypal and Authorize.net and am getting the same results through both. The site’s IP address was not on the spam list mentioned in another forum post.
The site is using WP eStore and WP eMember. The sites address is karrieevensonart.com
Help please!

June 20, 2012 at 1:01 am #45976visualadventuresMemberIt turns out there was a problem over at the hosting company. Looks like email from the server was being blocked by Google and Yahoo – although not 100% of the time – most of my contact form emails were getting through. I used an email on the hosting account to test it and figure it out – that the server was somehow getting blocked. Emeils were not even being marked as spam, just not showing up all together. I haven’t learned what was not right at the hosting company yet.
