I think I see the problem. I did not use a “subscription” button code; used a fancy button instead, so apparently it only created a single purchase even though all the subscription fields were filled in correctly…?

Nevermind – finally got this working. I ended up deactivating the theme and then reactivating it. Whatever glitch it was, it’s solved.

I thought perhaps this was a problem with the recurring billing / subscription setting… so I created a one-off item. Same problem — just gives a progress wheel as though it’s processing something, but never leaves the page.

I got the shortcodes to *display* the products — again deactivated all plugins including eStore, then reactivated. BUT, the buy button is not working now; just loops for a moment and stays at the page, does not go to Paypal.
