My sale are for $97.00
Commission rate 50% of each sale
but commission registered is only $19.4.
I am using eStore and the affiliate program
combined at http://www.how-to-start-a-bakery.com
I’d appreciate if someone can tell me what is wrong
as i am pretty sure my set-up is correct.
February 28, 2011 at 9:51 pm #29656wpCommerceModeratorIs it happening for all the affiliate sales?
If you are testing this with a specific affiliate id please provide the answers of the following questions:
1. Do you have
Use Fixed Commission Amount
option unchecked in the “Commission Settings”?2. What value have you specified in the
Commission Level
field of “Commission Settings”.3. What
Commission Level
are you using for that specific affiliate (under Add/Edit Affiliate)?March 3, 2011 at 6:22 pm #29657CrustyBakerMemberAffiliate platform v1.6 along with eStore v2.6.9.6
Yes it is happening on all affiliate sales.
Answer to question number1 i
don’t believe this is an option
Question 2:
On affiliate setting page i have commission level set to 50
Question 3
I have assigned everyone of the affiliates to 50% commission
Is the Paypal commission charges taken out before the division of commission paid to the affiliate?
March 4, 2011 at 3:33 am #29658amin007ParticipantFirst of all lets get you updated with the new builds of eStore and the affiliate plugns. You can download them from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
Once you update please do a test transaction and let us know if you see a difference.
“Is the Paypal commission charges taken out before the division of commission paid to the affiliate?” – No, the affiliates do not care about the fees and charges you incur. For example, when you see a product selling for $50 and the commission for that is 50% then you as an affiliate expect to get $25.
Obviously you don’t want to incur losses so what you do is instead of offering a 50% commission you offer a 45% commission which takes care of that issue and the affiliate will not have any more question.
March 7, 2011 at 5:05 pm #29659CrustyBakerMemberThank you for the upgraded plug-ins . And the 45% result.
I’ll install the updates later today March 7th 2011.
Again thank you!

I just tried to get the updates but unfortunately, i am being asked information that I do not have access too. My Desktop crashed last November and has been in the shop since the end of January this year with 182 Virus and trojans which has corrupted all the back ups as well as destroyed two new hard drives. In the process of recovering the information my repair tech has lost everything.
Is there a way for you to check your payments reports please.
Again thank you!
March 7, 2011 at 6:04 pm #29661CrustyBakerMemberWow!
OK after much searching through Paypal i think i have found my original receipt. Purchase made March 11th 2010.
March 9, 2011 at 4:09 am #29662CrustyBakerMemberThanks for the updated files.
Is there anything specific that i should know about installing the updates to either eStore or Affiliate from the older 2.6.9.6 version to the current version, or is it upload and automatic install as with most other plugin updates.
Thanks again
March 9, 2011 at 4:28 am #29663CrustyBakerMemberI just tried twice to install the eStore downloaded update twice only to receive a fail notice.
Method of install was as per the video.
Plugins
new
upload
Browse on hard drive
Wp-Cart-For_Digital-Products (156 files in zip format)
Install Now
Install failed error message
Destination folder already exists. /home2/howtost7/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/
Plugin install failed.
Is that not the correct method as i did deactivate first and then i tried with the old plugin activated too. Both received same error message.
March 9, 2011 at 4:32 am #29664CrustyBakerMemberIve also received this notice at the head of the plugins page
The plugin generated 1149 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
March 9, 2011 at 10:37 pm #29665wpCommerceModeratorMarch 12, 2011 at 5:42 pm #29666CrustyBakerMemberHello support.
I am having quite a difficult time with trying to upgrade my three programs eAffiliate, eStore, and eMember.
I have now tried numerous time to install all three programs on two different sites. eStore & eAffiliate on http://www.how-to-start-a-bakery.com and eMember on johns-blog.how-to-start-a-bakery.com.
I did also try to upload the unpacked version of both eStore and eAffiliate without success in the install.
I receive the same or similar errors on both. Update failed to install or in the case of eMember file already exists yet i dont see it. Of course it isn’t set up so i can easily delete it from the contents/plugins. But the other two if i delete them i will i assume loose all the data without means to replace it in the new -er plugin.
Both sites are hosted at BlueHost
So guys any assistance you can offer to me will be GREATLY appreciated.

March 12, 2011 at 11:27 pm #29667wpCommerceModeratorTry deleting the plugins from the
wp-content/plugins
directory and upload the new ones. (unpack only if you are using FTP to upload the plugins). When you upgrade the plugin you don’t loose any data.March 12, 2011 at 11:51 pm #29668amin007ParticipantPlease follow one of the update methods explained on the documentation:

March 16, 2011 at 1:56 am #29669CrustyBakerMemberI’m sorry to be a pain (if i am), but surely when you tell me to go into contents/plugins and delete the old plugin files I will loose everything that was in fact stored there.
How will the new plug in even find the data from the old files if they are deleted?
Believe me i have followed the instructions to the letter by deactivating the old plug in then using the automatic install option and then reactivating what is supposed to be the new updated plugin, but i get several error messages the last being unable to install update. previously i received an error stating number of files as per a previous comment above.
If you can guarantee that no loss of sate by deleting the file folder web sote in plugins then i’ll do it but i just cant believe it will find deleted data – Sorry
I’ll be in hospital from Wednesday through to Saturday March 16
