Hi, I had installed and was successfully running both estore and the affiliate plugin but now continue to get the following error with the affiliate plugin.
On activation – the following appears in the dashboard
The plugin generated 2832 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
and the following appears on the site page –
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie – headers already sent by (output started at /home/gogirl1/public_html/swurl.com.au/index.php(1) : eval()’d code:37) in /home/gogirl1/public_html/swurl.com.au/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_platform1.php on line 8
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/gogirl1/public_html/swurl.com.au/index.php(1) : eval()’d code:37) in /home/gogirl1/public_html/swurl.com.au/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 897
I deactivated all plugins and one by one re-activated, but continue to get this error with the affiliate plugin.
Can you help – I have now deactivated the plugin again until I hear from you.
Thanks
Danette

March 10, 2011 at 5:00 am #29895CrustyBakerMemberHi. Just read the comment above and have a concern about removing the old plugin to re-install the new plugin.
Will the removal of the old plugin destroy all the information, i.e. sales data, commission data as well as all the product configurations.
That seems to be one heck of a lot or rebuilding to do, does the new plugin have an access panel to insert all the deleted info. Or is it possible to copy and paste the pertinent info from the old file directory into the new file boxes.
i.e. Old file box file123 >
filename 1
filename2
highlight – copy –
New Fileboxwhatever. > Paste
Filename 1
Filename 2 – I hope you understand my analogy of the situation.

May 12, 2015 at 12:37 pm #29897ChargeDefenseMemberI have now requested a fresh plugin, tried to upload and extract both through the wp interface and extracting through my hosting file manager. I have contacted my system support and they do not understand what is making this occur. But I cannot seem to activate this plugin and continue to receive the following errors.
Warning: session_start(): open(home/charge9/session tempsession/sess_4f1be47e3a1da8e52df9e8defc977b54, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in /home/charge9/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_platform1.php on line 6

May 12, 2015 at 11:32 pm #29898adminKeymasterLooks like your server has a PHP session file permission issue. You just have to show this error to your hosting provider and request them to fix the PHP session permission issue on your server. After that you won’t see the error.
