WP Photo Seller – the Image Attachment Additional download link is not inserted in the digital purchase email when Set Photo Variation Default Quantity To 1 is selected.
Hope you can fix it quickly for me. TIA.

Does it work when the “Set Photo Variation Default Quantity To 1” is not enabled?
April 7, 2015 at 6:07 am #69434The Tech RoomMemberYes, it works when the “Set Photo Variation Default Quantity To 1” is not enabled.

April 10, 2015 at 3:09 pm #69436The Tech RoomMemberThanks for the fix. I’ve tested it and it works perfectly … and thank you for fixing it so quickly
Can I assume that this fix will also be included in future version releases?
April 19, 2015 at 10:49 pm #69437AndiMemberIssue: digital image link in customer email brings up a blank file
Hi Peter – A customer bought some digital images today. This is the first digital sale I’ve had since I downloaded the fresh copy of photoseller about a week ago. There were no problems with the digital links prior to the reinstallation. Today, a customer selected three digital images, paid for them, and they received the email with the link. But when they clicked on the link, it was empty. I tried it and experienced the same problem. I received an email with a link to a file with the correct name of the photo, but when I opened the file there is a message saying the file is empty. This is the link. http://www.deltasportsmagazine.com/?wps_file_dl=1&id=273&duid=1329584a5d403ddd4918ce670b470f0a
In my settings, the “Set Photo Variation Default Quantity To 1” is NOT enabled so I guess it’s not the same issue as the earlier post in this thread. Also, in my case there is actually a link with a file, but the file is empty. Please advise ASAP.
Thanks,
Andi
April 20, 2015 at 12:15 am #69438PeterMemberPlease set up a password protected dummy test gallery with one or two photos and set the price to say $0.10.
Enable logging from the photo seller settings and then let me know what the password is and I will make a full purchase to observe the behaviour.

Also, I noticed that after I purchased the photo, I was not automatically redirected back to your site’s thank you page.
In you paypal account, find the “Instant Payment Notification (IPN)” and please enable this feature if not enabled.
When enabling it will ask you for a “Notification URL” – simply set this to the URL of the IPN page.
Can you also check the following paypal acct settings:
Go to “Website Payment Preferences”.
What is your setting for:
1) “Auto Return”
2) “Payment Data Transfer (optional)”
April 20, 2015 at 3:42 am #69441AndiMemberI will check…
April 20, 2015 at 4:04 am #69442PeterMemberCan you also please check your general server logs and let me know if you find any entries which might be related to this.
April 20, 2015 at 4:47 am #69443AndiMemberokay – thanks for the heads-up about the settings…the IPN page does exist on my site and I enabled the feature in paypal, also updated the auto return in paypal, and redirected to the Thank You page in PhotoSeller settings. Tried another digital purchase and still got an empty file, but I noticed that the Thank You page message is difficult to read because the font is white and the background color is another shade of white inside the Thank You message box.
Not sure what to look for in the general server logs. Do you mean in the control panel on my host website? I didn’t see any relevant error messages, but then again, I really don’t know what to look for.
April 20, 2015 at 4:53 am #69444PeterMemberWe didn’t make any changes to the code which handles digital downloads.
Can you please ask your host provider support people to help with the troubleshooting of this?
Tell them that previously the image downloads were working and that they suddenly stopped – provide them with an example download link [http://www.deltasportsmagazine.com/?wps_file_dl=1&id=277&duid=09047a5f898a798d95bb26a1e8ffd6dd]
Ask them if they can help look at the system logs to see if there is anything which explains the zero byte file size.
Also ask them if anything has recently changed on your server.
April 20, 2015 at 4:59 am #69445AndiMemberokay – will do. Thanks
April 22, 2015 at 9:13 pm #69446AndiMemberHi Peter,
My host provider says nothing changed on my server and they checked the log and didn’t find anything relevant, but they did determine that when they disabled my NextGen photo gallery plugin, the problem of receiving the empty file is resolved. True-I tested it.
I’ve had the NextGen plugin forever. My theme Photocrati originally came with it’s own native photo gallery (not NextGen), but I added the NextGen plugin and then I added PhotoSeller. At some point in time Photocrati took over NextGen and they use it with their themes. A customer notified me on April 19 of the problem with the digital sales (0 byte file in customer email). This was shortly after I had loaded a fresh copy of PhotoSeller. The problem could have started anytime between my last successful digital sale on March 9 and the unsuccessful digital sale on April 19. We get mostly print orders. Is the new version of PhotoSeller incompatible with NextGen? It’s not feasible for me to remove either plugin. I have faith that you will find a solution for me…
