After updating to the latest wordpress version and install w3 total cache plugin (followed this steps https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/using-the-plugins-with-w3-total-cache-plugin), the shopping cart in the widget area stopped working, just disappeared. I already installed the plugin again from a fresh download link, uninstalled the w3 cache plugin, and nothing.
I already installed the plugin again from a fresh download link…
Did you remember to reinstall the Extra Shortcodes Addon?
Mine just disappeared too (it’s in a right sidebar). I believe this happened after the upgrade to WP 5.9. I was able to work around it by deleting the standard estore cart widget and creating a text widget with a shortcode for the standard cart.
I did not unistall the Addon, therefore yes, it is installed. As @markyg said, the problem should be the latest wp update, since I tried it in a test site, and stopped working after the update.
Just use any of the following shopping cart shortcodes from our plugin in your widget area (just the same way you add a shortcode to your post or page:
[wp_eStore_cart]
[wp_eStore_cart_when_not_empty]
[wp_eStore_cart_fancy1]
[wp_eStore_cart_fancy1_when_not_empty]
[wp_eStore_cart_fancy2]
All the shortcodes are listed here:

Let me know if that works for you.
@admin Thanks, it worked. One question, Does the “Wp Cart for Digital Products” option in the widget stopped working permanently?
We have also just updated the plugin to make the old widgets work with WP 5.9 also. You can download a new copy now if you want to try that:
I still prefer to use the shortcode approach as it provides more flexibility.
Thanks, I will follow your recommendation and use the shortcode in the widget area.
