I received this email last night from paypal and I was wondering if you can help me debug it!! Of course because it’s money related, it’s a bit of an emergency!!
There’s not evidence when it happened. I do have the logs in the emember and estore running… Any help would be very much appreciated !!
I did read all the setup and had it all configured. how can I test to see if the IPN is working? BUT here’s my question: we dont sell products yet just the membership. do I have to have it enabled?
—>>> PAYPAL <<
Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:
http://www.XXXXX.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/ipn/eMember_handle_paypal_ipn.php
http://www.XXXXX.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/paypal.php
If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.
Thanks,
PayPal

You can’t sell stuff from a site that is blockign PayPal’s IPN. This post will help:

I emailed my Web Host People, and they sent me this response:
Looks like an error with the WordPress Photo Seller plugin. I would contact the developer (https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/support-forum), send them the message that PayPal sent you, and also give them this error message that comes up on the page.
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function eregi() in /home4/maxima/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-seller/models/WPSPayPalIpn.php:57 Stack trace: #0 /home4/maxima/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-seller/models/WPSShortcodeManager.php(246): WPSPayPalIpn->validate(Array) #1 /home4/maxima/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php(325): WPSShortcodeManager->processIPN(”, ”, ‘WPS_ipn’)
Please advise!

Let me know if you still see the issue after that.
