Paying commission 30 days from date of sale

My product has a 30 day money back guarantee. Is there a way that I can schedule the commission payments so that it isn’t due till after the 30 day money back guarantee period? I intend to make the payments on the last working day of the month.

I just don’t want the scenario of someone scamming me e.g buy £500 worth of products on 29th month, affiliate gets paid on 31st of month, the goods are returned and the affiliate doesn’t make any further commission and I am out of pocket.

Ideally I would like the commission to be paid on the last working day of the month AFTER the 30 day money back guarantee period. Can this be done?

Any help on this would be appreciated.
