Hi, how are you guys? I hope great! I want to have three membership levels Silver, Gold and Platinum. I also want to give option to buy 1 month, 6 months and 1 year for each level. How can I do that I’ve been thinking it and I can’t figure it out. I have eStore too…
Can you please help me?
Thanks
August 20, 2010 at 5:57 am #23511IvyMemberHi, The following page will explain more about how to do this using eMember and eStore.
August 20, 2010 at 7:23 pm #23512gcollignonMemberThanks Ivy, I read the article. I guess my question was not formulated correctly. Do I need to make one membership level for every one of it? SO Instead of having 3 membership levels I need to configure 9, just because of the duration of the membership?
I was thinking to create the membership product in eStore and just add variations for the duration of the membership, but that will not cancel the subscription automatically.
Do you have any thoughts on how I can better get a solution? Because if I have the same membership 3 times I need to make 3 updates everytime the content changes.
Thanks!
August 21, 2010 at 2:41 am #23513IvyMemberHi, Yes you would need to make a membership level for each duration. As for the content all 3 Gold members will see the same content correct? If so then you just need to update one page and set the content protect so all 3 membership levels (Gold Member) can see the same page you just updated.
August 21, 2010 at 4:59 am #23514gcollignonMemberCAn I add to this a free trial for each level? How will they upgrade?
August 22, 2010 at 1:57 am #23515IvyMemberHi, Please see the following video “How to Setup a Free Membership Site”:
All the customer needs to do is be logged in when they purchase the upgrade they want.
October 24, 2010 at 11:01 am #23516bomtawMemberHi,
Have you expected to add duration variation on your membership level. Lot of websites provide services with discount if you paid 12 month in once instead of 1 month X 12 time.
in my view , Isn’t really logical to have different membership for different duration.
thanks

So your options for the payment will look like the following (the yearly one will save $20):
– $100 per 12 month
– $12 per month
Just create two subscription buttons for this (both hooked to the same membership level) and you are set.
October 28, 2010 at 10:23 am #23518bomtawMemberHi, thanks for your answer,
I’m not sure to understand…
on estore interface i can create two subscription buttons —> OK
but on emember I need to fill “subscription duration”,
if I set 30 days, a personne who paid 12 months would be cancelled after 30 days???
Sorry for my bad English I’m french…

October 28, 2010 at 10:33 am #23519bomtawMember… Or
I set 12 month on emember panel.
I must create 2 subscription buttons :
1 month = 10€
First subscription : 1 X 100€ for 12 months
Second subscription : 12 x 10€ (1 by 1)
If client choose the second one, and paid 2 times (for exemple) his membership continued,
The third payement failed,
In this case how does it work ?
thanks
