Hi,
You can’t change the tracking URL from “?ap_id=some_id” to “#affiliateID”.
The “?ap_id=some_id” format must be used because this is how this plugin is able to perform a query of its DB using the ap_id value from the URL This is a standard programming technique.
You can choose to hide that affiliate ID from the URL after a visitor lands on your site. This post will explain how to do that:
Your expert affiliates will use a link cloaking software/plugin to cloak the affiliate link when they place it on their site.
