I have set up Estore and Paypal sandbox. I am getting this error after payment: Thank You for your purchase. Product(s) will be delivered when the payment is cleared.
I check both the buyer and the seller accounts the sandbox accounts and the payments are transferred. Both accounts are verified and Payment Review is disabled in both.
In the estore post payment debug log i get the following fail message: The fund did not clear. Product will be delivered via email when the fund clears! Payment Status:

I have checked the threads these do not relate to my issue.
I have everything as success in the ipn_handle_debug.log file.

I am using a business sandbox account for paypal seller, a personal sandbox account for paypal buyer. Both accounts are verified, with payment review disabled.
Still I am getting this fund not clear error and in the thank you page i am getting ‘Thank You for your purchase. Product(s) will be delivered when the payment is cleared.’
January 1, 2013 at 2:36 pm #52718wzpModeratorIf you did a low value, live transaction, does the problem go away? I know doing it kind of nullifies the purpose of the sandbox testing, but at least doing it one time would confirm if the problem was sandbox setup related or not. Live PayPal account is totally different than your Sandbox account.
What you need to understand is that, this pending payment means your PayPal account is not setup correctly. This is not an issue in the eStore plugin. Have a look at this checklist which should help you narrow down the issue in your PayPal account:

I’m trying to do the same thing as vandith, test the Thank You page display of purchased products using a Sandbox account, and getting the same error, “Product(s) will be delivered when the payment is cleared.” I really do need to use the sandbox to test this, because I’m trying to add some functionality to the thank you page display (yes, by hacking the plugin, but what I’m asking doesn’t depend on that). I just want to know if vandith or the plugin maintainers ever figured out a way to use the PayPal Sandbox to successfully display Thank You page results.
Here’s a stackoverflow thread about the same thing:
I tried everything suggested there and none of it worked.
Thanks!
September 3, 2013 at 11:22 pm #52720PeterMemberHi, I just performed a test with my sandbox account and the thankyou page download links and other information are correctly displayed.
So we know that the plugin works correctly for sandbox. Now if your PayPal sandbox account is setup correctly or not is a whole different issue. Setting up the PayPal sandbox account correctly can be very tiresome which is why we recommend using a live transaction (it is perfectly okay to enable PDT in your live PayPal account and do a test transaction to test the thank you page stuff).
If your sandbox account has an issue then the PayPal support team is probably your best hope of getting that account fixed.
Apart from the checking the links suggested above, have you also tried the following:
– Check your buyer account balance: ensure that there is enough balance
– Create a new buyer account and try another purchase
