I have used the plugin with great success before and have recommended it to many of my developer friends.
I have the settings – I think – correct.
I can use the plugin properly in the Sandbox, but when it’s life the following happens:
1) Buyer gets Pending Payment Received message
2) I get WP eStore – Payment Verification Failed!
3) Buyer gets no email with downloads
Can someone help me with what is happening?

The “Payment Verification Failed” is the reason for your failed transaction. This post should help you:

eStore will not send any download links if it receives a “Payment Verification Failed” message from PayPal.
What did the “verification failed” email you received tell you is the exact reason for the failure?
Can you please share the output of the ipn_handle_debug.log file?
Have you double checked to make sure you have entered the correct paypal email address in your Payment Gateway Settings?
Also are your PayPal account settings configured correctly so that IPN is enabled?
