MemberHi,
I use eStore Version v6.9.6 and PDF Stamper Version 4.1.9 on WordPress 3.5.
They both worked OK.
But yesterday I decided to install several security plugins for WordPress. I changed the name of the directory “wp-content”, to hide it. And since then, I have the message “WARNING: Cannot locate file download.php in the eStore plugin directory”.
Even when i restore to the defaults, it does not work.
I have asked a friend to buy one item to try. The money was paid (1€…), but she did not receiv the email to download the file and the sale does not appear in my eStore admin stats.
I tried to follow the instructions of http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/how-to-customize-the-encrypted-download-url-224 but nothing worked. Always the same error message.
The problem is that my website is in production, and people are likely to try and buy ebooks…
Could you help me ?
Thx in advance
Ludovic

KeymasterWhat value do you see in the “Download Validation Script Location” field of eStore settings?
Did you try putting your site back the way it was before you made these folder changes?

MemberHi,
I have a similar problem. My products are image files but upon purchasing my customers do not receive a download link. In “settings” I have the error “Cannot locate file download.php in the eStore plugin directory.” I tried to reset just the validation script and received the same error. I then tried to “reset e store settings to default” from admin but still receive the error message. I have wp estore version 6.9.9.2 and wp 4.2.1,
Thanks
