How to Reset the Download Validation Script Location to Default Setting

If you changed the “Download Validation Script Location” field from the WP eStore settings menu and need to change it back to the default value then follow this instruction.

1. Navigate to WP eStore’s settings menu. Then go to the “Advanced Settings” tab.

2. Empty the value from the “Download Validation Script Location” field.

3. Scroll down and hit the “Update Options” button. This will recalculate the default value and repopulate the “Download Validation Script Location” field.

4. Check to make sure that the value in the “Download Validation Script Location” field looks correct.

5. Hit “Update Options” one more time to save this new value.

Now, when an encrypted link is generated it will use this new (default value) of the download validation script field.

Go to the “Admin Functions” menu of eStore and generate an encrypted link and test it out.
