When customers make a purchase the plugin truncates name, surname or address field when they contain Polish national characters (ą ć ę ł ń ó ś ź ż). I use wp estore v 6.2.5 with WP 3.4.1

    Best regards,

    Darek

I am pretty sure the language encoding settings in your PayPal account is not UTF-8 which is why you are seeing this issue. Read the following post which will help you correct your PayPal setting:

Also, it is a good idea to load a fresh copy of the plugin:

I have the same problem with german umlauts, but it’s no paypal problem. The umlauts are correct in the emails send by paypal.

The problem is in the email text, defined in eStore options under ‘Buyer Email Body*’ and ‘Seller Email Body*’.

It is still the same problem because the payment notifications (IPN) sent to the eStore plugin (from PayPal) are not in UTF-8 format. The normal receipt email sent by PayPal is a completely different thing.

Do what that post says to change the character format to UTF-8 in your PayPal account and you will see that this issue will disappear.

I changed paypal setting and language to i18n also. Looks like everything works just fine. Thank you!

    Best regards,
