Hi, I’m new with eStore. I want to sell different types of things (membership, raffle tickets, digital books). But I only see one type of customer email. I’ve read in another thread this tag {product_link_digital_items_only} which is good to avoid useless download words in the mail.

For the raffle tickets (I’ve followed this one : https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/how-to-use-the-seriallicense-key-code-selling-feature-1618

How can I send the ticket number only to the people who have bought one ? I don’t want to add this {serial_key} tag for a new membership email.

Could it be possible to keep this global email template but add specific email templates when needed ?

    Regards from France

I don’t understand the question. Please give examples of what you want, and don’t want to happen.

Over the years, different people have taken different approaches to the online ticket question. Here are some of the more interesting applications and issues, that might be helpful:

You can use “product specific instructions,” that can be inserted into the global email:

I would like to send :

    – a simple email for a new membership

    – an email with a link for a digital purchase

    – an email with the serial key for the raffle tickets

As there is only one email template in the settings I don’t know how to do that.

    Thanks for your help.

I think that if you were to just start playing with it, using the generic template, and the product specific instructions that I mentioned previously; you will get an idea for how to accomplish your goal.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the links.

Sorry I don’t have PDF stramper, only eStore and eMember.

I simply want to send the serial key by email but not in every case.

I’ve read all the pages you have sent but I still don’t understand how to send different email contents according to the “type” of product.

I don’t want any product specific instruction, I only need that the customer receives its ticket number(s) in the email after the purchase in case of the raffle but no serial key in case of a new membership.

    Regards

    David

    Hi again,

After several tries I have succeded and have received the serial key by email, by using that {product_specific_instructions}.

It wasn’t clear I could use {serial_key} inside the produc specific instructions. I hadn’t understood nested tags was allowed. Maybe this could be added in the documentation.

    Thanks and have a nice week-end :)
