Hello there! Great plugin.
I’m trying to set up the eStore to sell tickets for events. I would like a way to have those tickets serialize o with the actual data of the person who bought them (example: Jhon Doe buys a ticket. Jhon will receive an email with the eventĀ“s ticket where he will see “Jhon Doe – Ticket: 345)
Is that possible with this plugin?
I have a feeling that something like this may be achieved by using the Serial Number feature of the store. But, if I understood correctly, it only inserts the serial number into the EMAIL not the TICKET.
How would you recommend me to proceed? Should I make a custom email for these products, as the event’s ticket, include the serial and have the customer print that email as the ticket, or is there another way?
Thanks!
Yes, using an email with the printed information is adequate. By “adequate,” I mean that presenting an email in lieu of a “ticket” already works in real life; for things like airline and hotel check-in. You’d just have to cross off the serial numbers as they are presented for redemption.
If you want to get “really fancy,” and use a printed “ticket” format, you could use the PDF Stamper to “stamp” the information onto a blank ticket template.

Note however, that you will need to make some modifications to the plugin.
I think I see what you mean. Format is really the issue here. If I’m able to insert the serial number into an email and I can format the email using HTML I pretty much got the thing solved.
I can’t get too fancy inserting, for example, QR codes, though. I’ll look into that.
Thanks!
