estore – one download/usage for pdf of digital product (print ticket for event)

Hi there,

I have just set up my estore plugin, my first digital product is a printable ticket to an event. How do I prevent a customer from forwarding their email after purchase to a friend. The paid customer should be the only person able to download and print the ticket, ONCE. Thanks for your help!

Troubleshooting: I have forwarded the download link to another email account and I was able to print the ticket again.

You could set the download expiry and duration to something like 4 hours, or 1 download, whichever comes first. But be prepared for a percentage of people not being able to download on the first try.

And like TicketMaster, you should also have some kind of first-use check going on at the event.
