eStore – Paypal does not include shipping variation

I use the following shipping variation on [www.naturanobile.at]

Land|Österreich|Deutschland:6.0

For manual payment everything works fine. Now a customer ordered from Germany and paid via Paypal. The extra shipping fee of EUR 6 was not included.

I tried myself (including Update) and it is not working. Paypal only includes the basic shipping fee of EUR 3.80.

I tried your fix https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/shipping-variation-value-not-shown-on-confirmation-email#post-18003 but it is not working.

Please advise as soon as possible.

When you say PayPal does not include shipping variation, do you mean the total shipping price is not included or the name of the shipping variation is not included? Do you have PayPal profile based shipping enabled in your PayPal account?

When I did a checkout on your site, I can see that the total shipping is getting sent to PayPal correctly so I am guessing you mean the name of the variation.

The value of the shipping variation is not included by PayPal. You include it in the eStore notification email by adding the following email tag in the email body field of eStore:

{shipping_option_selected}

Did you try loading a new copy of the eStore plugin? It is likely your version doesn’t have the {shipping_option_selected} tag implementation:

Thanks for your quick response.

Here is an example to illustrate my problem ( customer orders from Germany):

Order form: product 5 EUR + basic shipping 3,80 + shipping variation 6 = total 14,80 EUR

Paypal shows: product 5 EUR + basic shipping 3,80 = total 8,80 EUR

I have not enabled paypal profile based shipping (I do not know where, I can only chose a shipping fee according to total amount of invoice, not per country).

I have not the latest plugin yet, but I will try this.

When I went to your site and did a checkout I actually saw the total shipping to be 8.80EUR. So for me it worked fine. Now, lets make sure we are talking about the same product so I can investigate more. It is likely that the PayPal profile based shipping that you configured in your PayPal account is overriding the shipping amount.

Your site is not in English so it is hard for me to browse and find what I am looking for. Can you please link directly to a page where I can go and click the add to cart button and then see what you explained in your post?

Hi,

Issue is resolved. I simply activated on Paypal “overwrite with transaction based shipping” and changed the shipping variation to “Country | Austria:3.80 | Germany: 9.80”.

Now everything works fine.
