eStore – how to send download links to customers

Hi there,

installed, configured, and filled the eStore-plugin. Nice!

Now, I’d like to know, if I can resend the download-links to my customers. See:

1. A customer buys some Application

2. He/She gets the download-link

3. I will update the Application using the same ID and such

4. How do I tell my customers, there is a new version out?

I’ve seen this on some other sites. Everytime, they make a new update to their software, I’m getting notified with the download-link.

If already possible, please point me to some information.

If now, please consider adding this

Offering updates to my customers

You’d create a self service update page, containing the following shortcode:

[wp_eStore_download_link_sender]

When a new update becomes available, just announce the fact, and users get the updates if they choose to. It also allows them to get a fresh copy, of the current version, if there is a problem with their existing purchase.

The [wp_eStore_download_link_sender] shortcode comes from the extra eStore shortcodes addon:
