SpectatorHi,
Up until now every time I updated one of my E-Books I sent out a bulk e-mail to all customers with a link for them to download the latest version. But with 2500 customers I guess my mail server hates me (I tried twice sending out the e-mail today but none was delivered).
1) Now I wonder if there’s any better way for me to make sure people get the latest version. Do you have any?
2) I love the way I can request an Automatic Update of the plugins I bought by going to
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/automatic-update-request
will this be added to the eStore plugin someday for my customers to be able to download the latest version all by themselves? Or will it come as another plugin? I would really love that.
3) If the answer to 2) is yes: can it be combined with the PDF Stamper?
Kindest regards and thanks for your excellent products,
Matthias

KeymasterYes, there is a shortcode in eStore that lets you place an update request handler so your customers can self serve:
[wp_eStore_download_link_sender]Check the extra shortcodes plugin to find this shortcode:

It doesn’t do anything with the PDF stamper though.

MemberSo excited to see this is a possibility!
I went to use it and it didn’t work, but then, as always, I thought to check for an update – yep, sure enough

However, it just shows a field for email address – shouldn’t it show a field for transaction ID?
BEST e-commerce plugin ever
I’m still using Cart66 for another site because this estore isn’t quite as flexible for shipping stuff, but maybe I need to reinvestigate because I LOVE this suite of plugins and I hate the other
THANKS and Happy Holidays!

ModeratorYou need to download and install the eStore “extra shortcodes” package, as described in the above link.

MemberJeez, you beat me to it, I was editing my original post while you were responding

I just see a field for email, no name or txn id fields, is this the intended function?
