WordPress 3.4.1
eStore 6.2.7
eMember 7.9.8.5
I received a message saying: WP eStore – Payment Verification Failed!
With the following details:
Here are some more details for the exact cause of this transaction failure…
Request received for product ID: . Could not find this Product ID in the product database (please check the manage products menu and verify that you have specified the correct product ID).
What is weird is that the product ID seems to be empty. I have several others who have successfully subscribed and re-subscribed to the same product in the past.
It looks like, maybe Paypal has forgotten the product ID for a particular product?
Could you give me a pointer as what to look at. I didn’t have the logs turned on during this transaction
Have you made any changes on your site since this was working to when you got the email?
What did this customer purchase? Was it a valid purchase from a customer? The reason I ask this is because sometimes you will get scammers try to send a fake payment notification to try and get a product for free. eStore will catch it and send you (the admin) an email like the one you received. So if there wasn’t any true purchase from any customer then you can ignore this email.
Thanks for your reply. They had purchased a membership of a special area of my site called Gold Pass by subscription and they had actually successfully paid an installment in the past. Is the product ID stored in Paypal?
The product ID will get stored in PayPal after someone pays for a subscription product the first time. Did you delete this product from eStore?
No, I didn’t delete it. It is still in the eStore.
Okay… lets do the following:
1. Load fresh copies of the plugins first:

2. If you see this happening again then share the content of the debug file.
