ParticipantOn the edit profile page I have the option activated where somebody can click on the delete account link. But the bad thing about that is there isn’t any warning message the account gets deleted ASAP and since it is above the submit button seems like it’s easy to click on it by mistake. I can always use css to move it below the submit button but wouldn’t it be better if a window popped up saying are you sure? Then the user would have to push it again before the account actually gets deleted. I know I can always make a separate contact form where the user may fill that out requesting his account to be removed which I may end up doing but this seems to be like a nice little option to add.
Thanks John from Wondervegas.com

KeymasterRecently I made a change to that “delete feature” to add a confirmation option there. Can you load a new copy of the plugin now and see if that new change works better?

ParticipantOkay I installed the new version of the plugin and when delete account is selected it still deletes it right away. I looked for an option in all the settings fields and cannot find anywhere to activate confirmation option. Is there a separate shortcode I may use that has a delete account option?

KeymasterThe confirmation works using JavaScript. So if your site has JavaScript errors, it won’t work.
Do the following to make sure there is no JavaScript error on your site (coming from another outdated plugin or theme):

ParticipantI did as you ask and you can see there are no major errors. Here is the link to the image.

Moderator@WonderVegas — What version of Firefox did you use, when you did that test??? And do you get the same messages, when using Chrome or Edge?

ParticipantI have updated the images on the page and yes no major warnings. It has one on this plugin post review so I deactivated that one and made no difference. The images on the page show firefox then edge then chrome. Plus it shows that edit profile form uses the exact same id twice on the same page.

KeymasterI will take a look at the site to see what I can find. I will send you an email for it.

KeymasterThe form builder addon needed an update to be in line with the recent changes we made to that feature of the main emember plugin. We have updated the form builder addon.
