a) What part of the product isn’t working?
We are using WP Estore for some digital products on WordPress.
We used the [wp_eStore_cart_when_not_empty] shortcode on top of the page.
Whenever visitors click on Add to Cart the Cart does not show.
However when one is logged in as admin on the site the cart shows.
We also tried other cart shortcode but same result.
b) What are you trying to achieve?
Getting the Add to Cart items to show up in the Cart for visitors
c) What causes the error to show up?
We do not know
d) What version of the plugin are you using?
Version 8.2.7
e) Provide a link to the exact page where the problem is seen
f) Which product you are using (example: eStore, WP Affiliate Platform, eMember, PDF Stamper etc…)?
WP Estore
g) Did you modify the plugin code?
no

1. Are you using ANY page caching plugins or server modules?
2. When you say “logged in,” does that mean as a WordPress or an eMember user?
3. Can you provide a live URL link to a test page, along with instructions, to observe the case of a visitor adding to the cart?

It was the caching plugin as you suspected.
Is there any way around it because now the whole site is slower without a cache because of this e-commerce issue?
November 19, 2021 at 2:44 pm #83948wzpModeratorThe only 2 “officially supported” caching plugins are:
- WP Super Cache: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/using-the-plugins-together-with-wp-super-cache-plugin
- W3 Total Cache: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/using-the-plugins-with-w3-total-cache-plugin
If you are “in love” with any other caching plugin; please examine the configuration guidance for these 2 plugins (see links) and determine if you can similarly configure your caching plugin.
