Cannot get PDF Stamper to stamp.. White screen only?

I am trying to stamp a pdf file I have created using Adobe writer and I have installed the plug and set the settings per the tutorial video but when I try to do a manual stamp or any stamp for that matter I get a white screen.. please see visit this link ( http://squeekpress.com/pdf-stamper-screen-shot/pdf-stamper-screen-shot/ ) for a screenshot of what I see. In addition I have confirmed with my hosting provider and used the min req checker to confirm that all requirements have been set. Please help.

Sometimes files can get corrupted during upload which can issues such as this.

Let’s first try and load a fresh version of pdf stamper following this link to see if this fixes it:

Re-install or Load a Fresh Copy of the Plugin(s)

Remember to use the WordPress plugin uploader to upload the plugin to your site. Try this and let us know how it goes.

Hi,

I’ve run into the exact same problem. Have performed a fresh install of the PDF Stamper and I ran the pre-install plug-in to confirm I am capable of running the plugin.

I get the following errors when I run it in debug mode:

This usually happens when you upload the plugin files using FTP in normal mode (encrypted files can get corrupted easily when you do this).

Make sure to upload the plugin using the WordPress plugin uploader as shown on our video tutorials or use Binary transfer mode when uploading files using FTP.

Hi, I’m having the same issue (blank screen when I attempt to manual stamp test)

My setup was running fine until recently. I hadn’t changed anything. Same PDF files, same setup (It looks as though my site host has upgraded to php5 so unsure if this plays any role in the issue)

I ran through the checklist but my issue seems to have gotten worse. I deactivated, deleted and reinstalled the latest version (4.1.0) first through FTP and was now receiving a “SetaPDF_Stamper.php is corrupt” prompt. I deactivated, deleted and reinstalled via the dashboard and am no longer getting the SetaPDF corrupt prompt but getting the blank screen again. Upgraded to WP 3.3.1 and now the WP admin toolbar is no longer displaying either (on the blank page when attempting to manual stamp).

Support here is always top-notch, so looking forward to a speedy resolve.

How big is your PDF file?

In case you are wondering why I am asking you the above questions… your server got some upgrades which means it is probably consuming more memory than before. If this is the case then that means PDF Stamper doesn’t have much memory left to work with.

PHP RAM memory remains unchanged at 256M and I’ve increased the max execution time from 30 to 60 but still having no luck stamping the sample file recommended in the trouble-shooting checklist provided here. I

Is there a test I can run to ensure I have this amount of RAM available?

If you have shell access to your server then you can use a UNIX command to view the memory usage of your server. Alternatively, you can use a plugin like the following:

Find out how much memory is used and how much is left on an average. Also, you didn’t tell me the size of your PDF file.

The file is the sample one provided here in the trouble-shooting checklist. It’s a mere 492kb.

eStore plugin is using 8% of my memory. Combined with NextGen Gallery they are both using 15% of my memory available. I am butting up to the max at 97% total used. Max memory is 32meg. Time to give my provider a ring.

Are there any tips to lower my memory usage in wordpress. I have a bunch of plugins and the two that use the most memory is eStore and Nextgen.

@domc, 32 MB memory is not going to be sufficient to use PDF stamper. Our minimum requirement plugin recommends using 128MB memory. Definitely look into increasing the memory.

@Matt, you have had issue with the PDF stamper before on your server. I have sent you an email.
