I’m still having trouble. I removed the htaccess file, but the link still shows
Download file cannot be found. Please let us know. Thank you!November 20, 2010 at 5:40 pm #26454
John, did you try this already?November 20, 2010 at 7:35 pm #26455
Yes. The file link is working for other files (with PDF stamper), but for this one file, the link it sends back is much shorter and doesn’t work.
I’ve tried renaming it. Re-uploading it. I switched to “Do Not Convert” – nothing makes it work.
I LOVE how it works with my others offers – but this one has got me stumped.November 20, 2010 at 8:24 pm #26456
Okay, so from what you’ve said so far; this is the ***only*** file out of all the others that does not work. Is that correct?
Are you using PDF stamper with ***this*** file? If so, does it work without the PDF Stamper?November 26, 2010 at 8:29 pm #26457
Yes, and it works with the other files, just not this one.
I’ve tried it without the PDF stamper and it still gives a short link – it doesn’t work.
Love the plug in, by the way.November 27, 2010 at 12:10 am #26458
It sounds like maybe there is something going on with that particular file. Have you tried using another copy of that file?November 30, 2010 at 9:29 pm #26459
I did. I even re-saved the file with a new name (not just changing the file name), but it appears the same. I’ll try again and post the results.December 1, 2010 at 1:53 pm #26460
What program did you use to create the PDF file?December 2, 2010 at 6:32 pm #26461
Primopdf and CutepdfwriterDecember 2, 2010 at 7:23 pm #26462
I forgot to mention that these are the same programs I used to create the other two PDF files which work just fine.
The link sent off when the item is purchased is much shorter than the links for the items that work.December 2, 2010 at 8:15 pm #26463
Is there anything different about the kind of content in that particular PDF file, compared to the ones that work?
And you still have problems with that file, even if you are not using the Stamper?
If not using the Stamper has no affect on the problem, then is the file being stored in the same directory as the ones that work? Just trying to eliminate all possible causes, without asking you to send thee file in.December 3, 2010 at 2:01 am #26464
No problem, I appreciate the help.
The file is stored in the same location as the others that work.
I’m going to disengage the PDF stamper and try it, then reengage it and try it again. I have to have help to do this, so it may take a day, but I’ll report right back.
Thank you again for the help. I really love these programs. I know you’ll help me get them up and working!December 3, 2010 at 7:16 pm #26465
