I tried to manually stamp a file of about 38 pages.
This is the result:
An error occurred while trying to stamp the file!
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /var/www/vhosts/whitepapermarketing.de/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/lib/fpdi/FPDI_Protection.php

38 pages isn’t really a large file imho.
How much time does the stamper use to stamp a page?
i really hate to have to fumble with php.ini
I think the problem is the amount of time the scripts need to complete the task…
As it is now 4:30 AM in Sydney, we need to wait for Amin & Ivy to get a better answer.
I raised max execution time and was now able to stamp the file manually.
Btw. – there is a typo in the menu: it says “Manaul” Stamping – which somehow reminds me of an old pal of mine named Manuel
Hey, is this the same file you were trying to use in your other threads?
Nope, but i will try to re-actvate the stamper now for another test purchase
The main issue is not the number of pages your PDF file has. If you are on a shared hosting which is already running slow then the script will take longer to execute.
Its in the PHP.ini file, I changed the execution time from 30 seconds to 60 seconds. You can find in in your cpanel under “files” and ask your host top put it there if its not there. Then search for “execution” and you should see the 30 seconds part.
Worked for me!
