MemberI have just set up a store and it is suppose to deliver music both single tracks and the entire album but when I purchase and then click on the encrypted download link I get
“Download file cannot be found. Please let us know. Thank you!”
Now I think it is because my files are not in the “download folder” of the estore plugin Directory. Is this the case?
I assumed you could put the files anywhere as long as you stated the path and I have tested each and I can get them to download manually but I guess this not quite the way it should be set up.
See error log below
[11/12/2010 2:27 AM] – Status : Unresolved DL file path = /music/purchase/dir/Christmas Instrumental/XXXX.m4a

I have the download manager set to Do Not Convert. Still not working. Any other ideas? The debug file says it cannot find the file. I get the money, the customer is charged the money. The customer gets the email with the encrypted link, but the link doesn’t work.

ModeratorIn the directory which contains your files, check to see if there is a “.htaccess” file. If there is one, rename or delete the file.
Also, with the “Do Not Convert” option on, if you were to copy the “resolved DL file path” shown in the debug logs to your browser’s address bar, can you access the file?

MemberOkay, and thank you sincerely for your patience.
I renamed “.htaccess” to “.renamedhtaccess” and went to play in the Paypal sandbox. The debug log “resolved DL file path” URL actually worked! The PDF Stamper worked and everything. Do you think I’m good to go now? I’m stoked … !

ModeratorI am going to make the assumption that your files are in the plugin’s download directory.
If they are, just delete the renamed “.htaccess” file. You may also want to try setting the Automatic URL Conversion Preference back to “(Default) Absolute” just to keep things Kosher, and see if it still works.

MemberGot it deleted and changed over to “(Default)Absolute” but then I get this error message:
[11/18/2010 1:09 AM] – Advisory : Log file reset.
[11/18/2010 2:04 AM] – Status : Unresolved DL file path = Error!
[11/18/2010 2:04 AM] – Status : Resolved DL file path = Error!
[11/18/2010 2:04 AM] – FAILURE : Error on file_exists(‘Error!’)

ModeratorOkay. Just change it back to “Do Not Convert” and be happy
