MemberI was required by Webmasters to upgrade my site from Apache 1 to Apache 2. That instantly caused my WordPress site to go down. Finally we traced it to your plugins. Deactivating them via ftp allowed WordPress to load properly again. When I attempted activate them in WordPress I now get this message: “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Do you have upgrades that are compatible with Apache 2?

ModeratorIn addition to upgrading your plugins, you might want to upgrade WordPress as well.

MemberI reinstalled WordPress myself and also had a pro do it as well. Makes no difference. I’m forced to deactivate eMember and eStore or WordPress just hangs with a blank white page at startup.

MemberBTW, I am using eMember 8.25, eStore 6.9.1.41, and Affiliate Program 5.33
At least with trying to activate Affiliate Program, I get an additional error message. It says:
“Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid/gid is 11078/10001 is not allowed to access /tmp owned by uid/gid 0/0 in /usr/local/4admin/apache/vhosts/sexyboudoir.com/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_platform1.php on line 8”

MemberI switched back to Apache 1.
I got Safe Mode turned off in the php manager and fixed that issue.
Then deleted a couple of paypal payment plugins that apparently were interfering with eStore.
And with eStore and eMembers deactivated,
Then switched back to Apache 2
then was able to reactivate eStore and eMembers without a problem. My members and memberships levels were even still intact after all this, deleting and reinstalling eStore and eMembers a few times.
A miracle!!!!

ModeratorWhen you delete the plugins, you don’t lose the product, member, affiliate etc data that you have already saved.
